No Sign-in/All Your Information Anonymous > But Don't Have Love!

]1Cor. 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

Is knowledge love? Is prophecy love? Is speaking in tongues love? Is serving God in a holy religion without let up love? No! Not according to the Holy Spirit that was speaking through the apostle Paul. Do we see the dichotomy here?

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

All these things are what human believes proves our love for someone, isn't that so? Without some effort, without some giving of these things Christian's believe they are not showing love. Have we ever broken down these thoughts of why these things are not love? Well, simply put, the flesh cannot understand the things of the Spirit so this thought is completely overlooked when translating love into human terms of the flesh thinking it is God's love, which Paul was writing about; in doing so confusing flesh with Spirit we will come up far short.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Nothing of God starts from anything less than love, love is not a part of God, so if God gave life, it was from love, for God is love, not knowledge, not prophecy, not faith, not feeding the poor, God is love, no further, no shorter. God is not proving he is love, or trying to get us to earn his love, No! Love is a gift given freely, that is, God, gives himself freely to us, no greater gift is given, not knowledge, not prophecy, not faith, and so on . . .

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

If we don't have love, we don't have God, its that simple! You see any human in any religion Christian's or otherwise can have all the gifts mentioned by Paul, but if they don't have love, God, then none of those gifts are from God. Paul here is point specific do we know that point? Christ, yes, Christ is God's love, Christ is the very expression of all God's love for the human race. If we don't have Christ neither do we have God, nor do we have love - God.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

So we can be a Christian's in name, or any other religion and not have Christ, how do we have Christ? Well, it is the entire theme of God's word the bible; we are born again into Christ life, and he is in us, that is, how we have Christ and is the point specific? This is how God's love indwells us. We have the life of God in us, we thus are in God's love, for he is love, and Christ is in us. Now, those works are love, they are not earned as we think when speaking of love from our flesh, that is, the world we are born into, which love is earned, gaining merit to prove it. Whereas, God love is given freely as a gift of love, how? In Holy Spirit, it produce in those with Spirit the love of God, the Christ, which is 180-degrees opposite of the love of the world.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

We must not assume because we are consumed with knowledge or any of these gift, we have love, we may or may not have Christ indwelling us. Yet, false religion teaches everywhere that knowledge, that prophecy proves God's love, and because the knowledge dwells in us we are in Christ, false! Moreover, that is why so many are mislead and disappointed with false religions. Christ is not religion, he is truth and Spirit, which is God's love, it is his life indwelling us which is God's love, and truth, not us no matter how much we think we love, we all fall short of God's real glory, love.

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
15:6 If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
