No Love, No Obedience!

John.14:24 He who doesn't love me doesn't keep my words. The word which you hear isn't mine, but the Father's who sent me.

Can we obey God if we don't love him? That is the ultimate question found in our bible from front to back? Yes, it is, if Adam had loved God more than Eve, he would not have sinned. He would have obeyed God first because he loved his Father YHWH more than all else in his life.

Matthew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me.

Subsequently, it can be said that lack of love on Adam's part was the first sin. Sin then is missing the mark of loving God perfectly, but of course that is not what legalistic false religions believes or teaches.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

When legalist look at God's word as Satan the Devil did, love is the last thing they see or understand. Its all about obedience, without obedience first, love does not exist.

1.
The emphasis is placed on control through obedience, which they believe with all their hearts proves one loves God.

1Cor.13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

However, God is love, and without loving him one cannot no matter how much they tout obedience as God, the king, the Almighty, a person cannot obey him without first loving God

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

Demarcation Between Truth and Falsehood

We have defined a very thin a blurred line between the first lie and the love of God. God is love, if we do not love we do not know God. The bible does not tells us we earn God's love by obeying him, as much as we want to believe that its not a truth in our bibles, at least for those perfected in love.

1 John 4:19 We love Him, because he first loved us.

Once we move away from love, in any other form or fashion from God we lose God in our lives. Adam did not earn God's love by obedience to him.

1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

2.

Adam was given God's love freely before he ever obeyed God or disobeyed him. Christ was created like Adam as a son of God from God's love. He was not created from obedience, so that he would obey God. No! God created Christ from his love, to love God, God is love.

In perfect love there is no sin, if there is no sin neither can their be disobedience.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

When one loves God, and God ask that person to do something they do so because they love God. If one does not love God no amount of obedience is going to make one love God. You see, its not a question as legalist would have us believe it is an action of love that has no sin in it. Thus, the perfect law of God is love, it not created for sinners, because sin does not exist in love.

1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.

God is love, he does not sin, he does not doubt and impute evil by thinking first one will not obey so lets put laws to make people obey him in love. The law is for sinners for those whom do not love God. Obeying out of fear is a clear demarcation we don't love God nor have we been perfected in God's love.

3.

1Cor.13:5 does not behave in an unseemly manner, does not seek what is its own, is not quickly provoked, does not impute evil,

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

God does not want perfect obedience children, he does not want everyone to goose step in perfect harmony that is what the Devil wants and speaks of and teaches not God. God wants mankind restored to perfect love, without fear of judgment because they love God freely as he loves them freely.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, "Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him."{Isaiah 64:4}

1 Corinthians 13:13 But now faith, hope, and love remain--these three. The greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}

Ephesians 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;

4.
Ephesians 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

Ephesians 3:19 and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 4:16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Freely is Grace

Freely is Grace, why? Simply put, as sinner we do not deserve being loved by God as he loved his own son Christ Jesus whom never sinned. God is love and if we don't know love we do not know God.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

Romans 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

God's love, and all his creation was given his children from love, not obedience. That is why God loves us before we did good or bad, it not a matter of obedience. When we love someone, we do things because we love them and we can't imagine doing otherwise, obedience isn't even given a thought! We are not made to do things, we are not made to obey, we want to obey because we are filled with love for the person.

Romans 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls.

5.
The Faulty Premise of Rebuilding Love From Obedience

We may chose to noted the powerful law of God did not rebuild the love Adam should have had for his Father Jehovah God. The idea of false religion is to build a kingdom through strict obedience to God's commandments then hand those belongings over, talents if you will as God's work on earth.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

But the law perfected nothing when it came to the most important thing of all. If we don't love God we cannot obey God. No! The law did not perfect love for God, “freely” without works of law, the same works of law that boasted in proving one had love for God. No! That type of love misses the mark of perfect love, i.e. perfect faith in God's, and what is that? Love!

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

God did not rebuild love of God by works of law, he did not keep his law lasting forever. He abolished his powerful righteous laws that condemned every man, woman, and child for falling short of God's glory, which is love.

6.
The law could not through strict obedience produce the love of God that takes sin away from our world. Sin is what Adam did for lack of love for his Father YHWH. Removing sin does not mean one loves God either. Love is beyond laws of our flesh, loves laws is the only law that has no rules attached to them. Freedom of the son's of God can't be found in anything less than God's love.

Gal. 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

This is why we are told from love that our sinful flesh cannot know God. It is that simple, if we are into obedience in making ones obey us in saying: “ that is how you prove your love to me”, then its not given freely. If one demands love, its not perfect love. Love can only be given “freely” from a heart of love. Our sinful flesh can never fully understand that love!

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

God is love, he is not restoring love by obedience, he is making all things new in his Son's love, so we can learn love and obey him because he is love.

2 Peter 3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

7.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

Colossians 3:14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
Laws Fulfilled

God's love is in Christ Jesus, Christ loved his Father perfectly, thus, his love fulfills all laws of the flesh. Never will mankind evolve into perfect love from a corruption of sin. God perfection is In love, in God, in Christ there is no commendation for those in Christ.

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

Christ is sinless not because of obedience, Christ is sinless because he loved God perfectly. God does not create robots, he does not create anything less, he creates because he is love. Love is perfect freedom without judgment, so there can be no fear in perfect love.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

8.
All laws of the flesh causes us fear, fear of disobedience which fears are not in God's love. Being set free in Christ is being set free from all judgment of our flesh. Our flesh is dead to God's love, love has no judgment in it for our flesh. Can we love like God, should we need to ask such a question, hopefully not?

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

It should be a given we cannot be God's love,and that is why the law had to be fulfilled by God's love too us, Christ Jesus. Love is the laws fulfillment. Moreover, and please take this statement very seriously! God's love has to be revealed to us, we cannot teach someone God's love that is why God personally teaches us his love by the Holy Spirit.

Rom.13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);
9.
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

God knows those loving him, those are the ones he teaches his love to. Furthermore, this is why a lust for vast knowledge is proof we don't live in God's love, and we lack the love of God

1Cor. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

False religion does not love God, false religion is of our flesh which falls far short of God's love. False religion legislates love by works of law. It is that deception that blinds the minds of unbelievers to God love.

2Cor.4:3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish; 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;
10.
James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

All steps in God's written word brings us to one place, the law, the commandments, obedience, the prophets, kings, and priest, and whatever else God says in his word to mankind. To bring them to Christ where God's love is perfected. Once in the last Adam, the Christ, we are taught the love of God through suffering in our flesh, we are perfect in faith, i.e., perfect love the love Christ had for his Father and was perfected in his own suffering one earth.

Heb. 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
5:8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
5:9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.

We should not conclude Christ was prone to disobedience because he learned obedience, Christ was the perfect sinless Son of God, he empty himself for love of God, his Father. Hence when ask of God to come to earth, he did so obediently because he loved his Father more than himself.

In that fashion as a man carrying the sickness and sins of other he became perfected in everything pertaining to being High Priest over mankind. In all respect Christ was test as us, one earth under sin so he might perfect us in God's love.

John 17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
11.
2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 9:9 which is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshipper perfect;

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
