Eating our own soul that is what idolatry does! Greed, stealing, defrauding is the altar of idolatry. Idolatry make our soul the bread of life, not Jesus
Christ the bread of life!
We may think nobody will miss a slice or two, but only God who rich in
mercy can give us a complete soul and he doesn’t bless idolatry he is
a jealous God!
Matt. 10:28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the
soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in
Gehenna.
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will
not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.
Deut 4:24 For Yahweh your God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.
