MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Children of Wrath

Eph.2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

Yes, we too were children of wrath, for those living in the air of disobedience they are found in God's wrath, how? They are found under the judgment of God's Law, whereas those delivered from darkness in Christ Jesus are found in God's love, in that, there is no law against love; so there is no disobedience either. Although this seem humanly impossible being of sinful flesh our natural inclination is towards disobedience it is not, how so? Well, first the sinful flesh is not removed from us, it is accounted as dead in God's eyes, but how?

By Christ removing the thing causing us disobedience the Law, in other words, the Law is not being held against us anymore, but it does not mean we are no longer sinners, we are, but it is that the is Law gone

in our case; God no longer judges us as sinners. Here we find the cruxes of Paul's point, not only our we freed from sin, God also gives us a seed
of His incorruptible life, which is naturally inclined towards obedience and righteousness.

Although this creates a battle between good and bad, darkness and light, in us, the seed within us and the power of God 's Holy Spirit helps us to conquer the disobedience in our sinful flesh by our faith. Yes our faith! But faith in what? Faith/trust in these promises of God, trusting in the power of Christ Jesus Kingship, which Paul speaks of in chapter one of Ephesian. Yes, faith that we are breathing the air of God's righteousness in Christ Jesus, and faith that we will come off completely victorious in Jesus Christ in every matter allowed into our lives as predestined Children of God. And faith that God has removed our judgment in Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
