We are dedicating this page to the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses from their governing body whom call themselves the faithful and Discreet slave of God charged with faithfully carrying out the works of Christ upon earth until he returns.

We will test the teaching against the inerrant word of God as the Watchtower and Bible and Tract Societies encourages their own members to do.

If we are a lover of truth one will quickly see that no evil intentions are being point at Jehovah’s Witnesses. The truth reproves all of us no matter what faith we are in. If we love the light then we come to the light.

There can be no harm in truth, when we say we are “in the truth” and that is our message to the world.  Please note, if we think as many Jehovah’s Witnesses do, and teach that anything not from their governing body is evil and against the truth, then one cannot test the spirits or the truth if they refuse to listen anyone but those they agree with; that is not the standard of our bibles and/or what Jehovah’s witnesses tell other religious faith’s they want to listen to their message.  Double standards do not please God.

It is our hope that each will examine their faith to see if they are in the truth, as we ourselves must if we love the truth more then this life.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

The Narcissistic Personality 

Why are we talking about the Narcissistic Personality on Examining the Teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses?   Well, there is a very good reason Narcissism is a mental disorder learned from bad parenting which causes people to become selfish control people. 

Thus, they do much abuse to others destroying relationship and often times not realizing that their tactics taught them by their parents are dysfunctional in society, and in families, and are very hurtful. 

This disease can be generational past on, and on, to child after child. But still, why are we talking about this subject on Examining the Teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses? 

This may or may not be a surprise to ex-Jehovah’s Witness, or those still in the club; the Watch Tower Bible Tract Society is viewed and taught to its members that it is their mother. 

Subsequently, members are birth from a very controlling religious organization, which is a key component of a Narcissistic Personality. So there really should be no surprise that Jehovah’s Witnesses Organization produces the fruits from its mothers personality in controlling and manipulating members, and each other! 

There are many Jehovah’s Witness that live with a narcissistic personality not realizing it. Moreover, their a many children that have left the group and continue in a life of selfish narcissistic ways which not even their parents understand? 

Blindness is the Key! 

Psychological blindness happens when a person has an agenda when dealing with others. In other words, they have an end objective, if that end objective is not meant the person is discarded!  When that is seen, and felt by a child and/or an adult, and is justified as a practiced sanction by God, which is, people are nothing more than what we gain from them and/or what my religion conforms them to be; that to is a key trait of the narcissitic personality. 

These teaching are embedded into all members of Jehovah’s Witnesses they are little more than a byproduct of their religions and if they don’t follow the rules they are discarded as so much trash. Such unspoken fear is never told to outsiders, but it makes a dramatic lasting impact on the psychologically health of their members, and particularly their children. 

Compounding this fear is the fact, all members are called brothers and sisters. In other words, they are a family, a family usually obtained by losing their real family who are discarded because they did not conform to Watchtower policy, and their teachings. 

When a child encounters these practices its not hard to understand that later in life they hate their parents, or they themselves become superficial people parroting what needs to be said to stay in the group, playing both sides of every issue having no loyalty to anyone but themselves which is another trait of an narcissistic personality. 

Subsequently, there a host of mental problems denied or kept hidden by members culminating in self-hatred, violence, drugs uses, alcoholism, anti social behavior, too many disorders to mention here. 

Unfortunately, there are those that become control people in every relationship they have; who have a god-complex, which means. they translate loyalty to the Watch Tower Bible Tract Society too themselves. Every denial of them is viewed evil against God, and punishable by God. Moreover, they used others to meet their emotional needs, and often times finical needs like their Mother, the Organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and if there is no personal gain, those people are quickly discarded, which is another trait of a narcissistic personality. 

To help us understand this thinking one must remember that no one is paid to teach, go out in service, nor preach or come to your home and minister too you. These services are “free” they are the rules and doctrines members obey uncompliaingly, nor do they give much thought to them, which means, little or no personal appreciation for those providing theses services.   Free services are demanded, expected from members and each others, which is another narcissistic personality trait. 

Subsequently, such free stuff become a right for Jehovah’s Witnesses, a person time is free, their help is free, and if not meant the person will be consider an evil selfish person and will be marked and avoided, which once again is a trait of a narcissistic personality. 

Jehovah’s Witness feel they have the divine right to form peoples personality who associate with them, it is their job on earth given them from their mother the Organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses.   Manipulation of others is a practice and revered by Jehovah’s Witnesses; stating half truths is a sacred duty blessed by God.  Which is another key component of the narcissistic personality. 

Jehovah’s Witnesses have no real personal privacy from one another unless they live a lie, and/or hid from each other. Members view it a right to dig into each others lives and business.

Moreover, members demand from each other their time, thinking nothing of personal rights to time we all have. When the need for association is not meant Jehovah’s Witnesses have no problem in making it very clear to the violator of their scared right, rudely informing the person they are seeking their own selfish longing, and are isolating themselves from God’s people. 

So its not hard to see this is the perfect play ground to produce narcissistic personalities, it is a warm rich soil that grows narcissistic disorders, which for Jehovah’s Witnesses is legally sanction by God himself, that is, by the Watch Tower and Bible Tract Society and their Governing Body, who state they are speaking for God on earth, which of course is the ultimate narcissistic personality trait. 

There are millions of members who have spent a life time trying to understand why their lives are so miserable within or outside the group of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Moreover, why their children have left and have no real compassion for others, doing evils that are so awful parents can find no human explanation? 

So there will be a number of articles posted here about Narcissism perhaps it will explain why things turn out so badly for many of us. We understand most Jehovah’s Witnesses pay little or no attention to psychology, but rest assured billions of people around the world have encounter a narcissistic person in their life leaving them devastated wondering how they were taken in so easily? Subsequently, rather members believe the science or not the actions of destructive behavior does not lie!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder: DSM-IV Criteria

A. A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements).

2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.

3. Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or highstatus people (or institutions).

4. Requires excessive admiration.

5. Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations.

6. Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.

7. Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
