Well here is the acid test of truth, are you punished one day, and loved
the next, are you confused, do you believe good and evil comes from
God, or are you under God's unmerited love in Christ Jesus? Are you
under fear in a abusive spiritual relationship trying to be perfectly
obedient, but coming up short in fear?
You see, God's unmerited gift is not given once your are perfectly obedience to certain rules, it is given freely in proof of God's own love by your trust/faith in Jesus Christ. When
we say love never fails, we are actually saying God first put faith in His
own love, then proves it by giving us unmerited love.
God's love cannot fail us because it produces in each one of us love for His precious gift of
Jesus Christ, God's unmerited love for humans.
James 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no
variation, nor turning shadow.
