Examining Teaching of JW's > Where Prophecy Comes From?

Where Prophecy Comes From?

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Would we not say that there is much confusion over prophecy? Nothing in the bible drives more fear, and, yet excitement at the same time! The idea that we are living in some prophecy, the thought that new words are coming from God about events on earth, nothing in the human experience could be more provocative!

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

Unfortunately, we find that in each generation of human since Christ Jesus was on earth, tons, and tons of prophecies that never came true?

One would think if we strike out every time we get to the plate, perhaps, we need to rethink our game? 'Is this really my game?' If one could find 50% of mankind's prophecy coming true we might even think we better not take the chance of not listening to it!

Matthew 13:14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, 'By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

The answer is really very simple, but for some magical reason mankind seems to be blinded to the simple truth, and what is it? That God's prophecy do not come from man's “will”.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 12:49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

In others words, it not a crap shoot at all! Its either from God's will, or its not? There is no confusion at all over the subject of prophecy? The scriptures tells us implicitly how to understand the truth by a principle Christ stated, and what is that principle?

Matt.5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

Christ tells us our words should be either “yes” or “no” anything in between yes or no is confusion and where the Devil, lives, plays, and deceives us.

Is the prophecy from God's will, or man's? Yes, or no! If we go beyond this simple foundational truth of God's word we ourselves are deceived by Satan that promotes much false prophecy through the human will.

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

The Human Will

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

What is the human will according to God's word, is it good, or bad? If it is good then why has all prophecy since Christ failed us? If it not of God then it would be from darkness and not the light, so it would be evil and not of God, yes or no? We do not need to be a human optimism believing the lie so we can find the truth. So we need to dig through a barn of horse dung looking for a horse.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

We need not go back through tons of old prophecy written by the will of man thinking as so many do that we have more light, a better understanding of God's words so we have the knowledge to reinvent a better prophecy through the power of our own will. Lets us not be fooled, if its is corrupted, it not of God, if it was a lie, from man's will, it not of God, yes, or no!

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

The point is not that a prophecy is filled with scriptures, the point is clear, was it God who wrote it, or man? Our wanting to find the truth of prophecy does not justify the human will as good for prophecy?

Let us not confuse the truth with the lie, God's will is not our will, God does not need new things revealed to himself, God is new, all knowing, and all seeing from time indefinite to eternity the will of God speaks truth at all times, and cannot lie or be shaken, or taken by world events, its that simple!

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

It is the things of man's will that wants, longs, and lust, for more knowledge of prophecy so he, or she is mislead into thinking they are speaking and doing God's will from their own will of their flesh. They are driven by their own wills desire confusing it with God's, and are blinded in self-deception that they are chosen of God to speak as God's mouth piece.

James. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

All such thinking is unrighteous, and evil according to God.

Adding to The Words of God

Let us be clear about another fundamental truth of God word, when we add too something that is pure,i.e, truth in this case, by our own words, from our own will, we are polluting it and that is what the bible calls yeast. When we add words from our desires to God's perfect words of truth we are adding yeast of corruption.

But what if the human race including those claiming to love and serve God don't understand what corruption to God is? What if they think they are pure in motives, and because of their self-judgment, what they say is God will, it must be because I judge myself pure when it comes to God's things.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths.

The question begs then why hasn't one sincere person prophecy came true since Christ was here on earth? That question really answers itself we are honest. The proof is in the pudding, which is there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what is in man will in his heart, and how God's will works for Christian's.

Revealing Prophecy Doesn’t Make it Truth!

Ps. 90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. 90:9 For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh. 90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.

God cannot, and has not, been handing his children serpents that bits them, we have been handing each other serpents of false prophecy created by the will of man to each other and blaming God for faulty men's thinking. We have been adding to God's word, and being reproved time and again, but not taking the reproof seriously, but instead pressing forward into more desires of our flesh for more prophecy.

Matt. 7:8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
7:9 Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
7:10 Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent?
7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Jeremiah 14:14 Then Yahweh said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I didn't send them, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke I to them: they prophesy to you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

A Corrupted Tree Cannot Produce Good Fruit

Do you believe that truth? Yes, or no? Do we believe that a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit? The world is saying just the opposite they are telling us from the first sin that human corrupted by sin and darkness can produce the will of God through the will of man corrupted by sin, and that we can produce like God incorruptible truth from something that is corrupted!

Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives.

What comes from God is incorruptible truth, every word spoken by God endures for every! Can any human born in sin say the same? What of all those false prophecy have they endured forever, have they had certain success? Have they come true, or have each one produced the fruit of a corrupt tree? Now don’t be easily fooled here just because they use the word of God and their motives they believe are pure that now in their case a corrupt tree can produce good fruit of God?

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

1 Corinthians 3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

Do we take ourselves too seriously? Do we brag and boast against the truth, do we add too God's word. Well, simply put, only the humble of heart will say yes! Only those humble of heart will get the message of truth, because God does not listen to those boasting in their flesh.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

James. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}
4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The humble of heart realize they are not entitled to make prophecy, or that they can because they judge their motives pure, believing they are humble, and kind; the humble in God's judgment does not mean they are entitled to speak for God''s will because they love God. The faithful servant does not make self judgments about his or hers faithfulness because they don't know if they are faithful it they are humble, or if they are approved until God declare such.

Luke 18:19 Jesus asked him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one--God.

1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Luke 6:43 For there is no good tree that brings forth rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that brings forth good fruit.

The humble endures in their flesh until God finishes their course upon earth. True prophecy comes from above, it is pure, truth, because Christ has been proven pure truth. Christ has been exulted into the image of God as God's one approved faultless faithful prophet for this earth for mankind.

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Heb. 1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his

None of Christ prophecy will fail to come true, just because we think we can figure them out by using our bibles, does not, now listen, does not mean they are coming from Christ, God’s one true prophet.

Our will is not the will of God, or Christ. Our will is against the truth and power of God, and should be dead. Our will is from the man of our flesh, the power coming from all that is in our flesh is reject by God and dead in Christ!

Our flesh cannot, cannot, please listen, cannot be in subjection to God's will, our will is not God's will, just because we feel good about it. Our power of our will cannot make itself into a non-sinner, it cannot obey God's law, it cannot please God. There is no application of God righteous commandments that will kill the flesh by our using it. The will of our flesh no matter how strong it is, it does not kill the flesh and the sin in us, it jails our evils, it does not kills them completely God must do that by his own will for us to be accounted righteous.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

If we could make ourselves sinless, perfect, then we would not need Christ life given too us, and/or indwelling us, at all! We would of simply bring ourselves into a sinless state by our good works through the will of our own flesh. Not one prophet of the past could make themselves sinless by their will, not one of Christ apostles could, so we do not need to lie against the truth?

James.3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

James.3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

False Teaching of a Prostitute

Christ and all those in his body are not prostitutes they do not add tasty fleshly teachings to God's bread for his children the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

We should not be naive in this truth, we should be able as mature Christian's in Christ to dinguses between what is in the spirit of flesh and what is the Spirit of God. This is not rocket science, both have clear demarcation. We mustn't lie about light and darkness, between what is in the spirit of flesh, and what is in the Spirit of God.

Gal. 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another. 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 5:21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

We must understand the flesh is no good at teaching the truth of God, or pleasing God, it is a false god that adds to God's word by taking the truth and mixing it into the thoughts of our fleshly mind. One always must remember a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit, don't be fooled that is what Christ warning us about, the fleshly mind.

Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn't understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.

Matthew 15:8 'These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. 15:19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

James.3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

We need not have something in between our yes and no when it comes to this subject. A corrupt tree, our fallen flesh cannot please God. Subsequently, we are solely, and wholly dependent upon Christ giving us good fruit from his body, we are not dependent upon ourselves, a religion, a group of men, a government, or anything else under the heaven but Christ the living bread of God that cannot be corrupted by human hands.

John 6:32 Jesus therefore said to them, "Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn't Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

John 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

John. 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
Truth must be given us from above, it must come down to us, because we have been wiped clean of the corruption of our flesh, not because we did anything good or bad, but because of God's great mercy towards us. Once in a good tree, Christ, not corrupted by sin, we can if God's so wills in us, for his work, which is the building up of the body of Christ, into a kingdom of righteousness, a new heavens; that is God's will and his work. That does not mean, we now have good motives in our flesh, or that whatever we touch it becomes clean. It does not mean our thoughts of our flesh have become righteous, and can somehow be added to Christ mind.

Haggai 2:12 'If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?'" The priests answered, "No."

It means our mind of the flesh is dead to God, it means we have been given the mind of Christ that feeds, and cherishes his own body by his own mind just as we do in our physical body. It means our hand does not judge if it is good or bad, it judges nothing at all because it can't, it is only a member. The judgment is of the head of the body, and is for the body. When we are full of contention we need not lie about our motives as if they are coming from the body of Christ saying they are good because we are in Christ. It does not makes it so, it does not make unrighteous fleshly judgments righteous no more so then our zeal for prophecy makes them God's will.

Matthew 9:13 But you go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,'{Hosea 6:6} for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.{NU omits "to repentance".}"

Matthew 23:28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

No! No! No! Don't be fooled every good gift comes to those of us born again by our Father will from his love, and is love from above; who has no flesh, or contention, who has no anger for his children because he is not judging them by the works in their flesh any longer. That is own our anger, or desires, of our flesh, its not God's, or of God. All we are doing is causing us, and others God's discipline because such fleshly desires are not in Christ, or of the Father, and we should not be so proud and haughty to think and teach others they are so we can justify our evil works as pure.

James. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}.

Those evils our of our flesh, and are not a good tree, they are from a corrupt tree that constantly plagues us with evil intention. Moreover, a corrupt tree that is a thorn bush as will that hurts us, and others, and is planted on the ground that was cursed by God outside of the garden of Eden! God is not condoning our corruption, he not saying lets mix it into the Spirit and truth, lets graft it into the root stock of holiness so we can make corruption of sin more tasty to all humans so the are not uncomfortable with their sinful flesh.

Rom. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Rom.11:21 for if God didn't spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 11:22 See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

Rom. 11:25 For I don't desire you to be ignorant, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} of this mystery, so that you won't be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

No! Please get this right, he has killed the flesh away from himself, by not continually judging something that cannot be clean up, reformed into a new heavens or earth. He is, now get this one point, God is creating all things new, he is not reforming the old into new, which is a false teaching not found in your bible. It may be in our fleshly mind put down on paper in some religious doctrine as a truth, but it is a lie!

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Ezekiel 20:38 and I will purge out from among you the rebels, and those who disobey against me; I will bring them forth out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

God is not dealing with our flesh at all and this is why, none, not one prophecy promoted by the flesh is of any value at all and will not
come true, nor has any to date. The kingdom of Christ was received two thousands years ago by the outpouring Holy Spirit causing the adoption of the son's of God, into a kingdom temple that is not made with human hands, whatsoever.

The work in that temple are not known or seen by fleshly teaching of false religion, because it is new, not of the old ways, it can only be known by those in Christ from Christ mind.

Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;'"{Jeremiah 31:33} then he says.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Which mind is yet to be revealed by Christ at his coming, and then those in that temple of Christ body will also be revealed, and that prophecy is eternal and endless and it faithful and truth.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

1 Peter 1:20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of times for your sake,

Interpretation of Prophecy

2 Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.

Millions have worked hard in the past and into this self-same day to set themselves up as interpreters of God's prophecy, what a grand mistake. The prophecy of God will not be interpreted by any of man's will, it must come too us from above, from the single and the last prophet of God, Christ Jesus. All others will be reproved, shown to be lies not of God's Holy Spirit. God is not glorifying men in their flesh any longer, have you gotten that significant point yet?

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:50 But I don't seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

There is no glory in our flesh, it falls short of God's glory, why do so many want a man in the flesh to be God's prophet on earth? Who is teaching such things, God, or Satan to mislead the world? Why must some man appear in the flesh to reveal prophecy to the spirit body of Christ not know at all by this world in the flesh?

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

The flesh was defeated, strip of any power upon Christ resurrection, there is no power, no goodness in it or God would of had men take it with them into the heaven and glorify it! It is corrupt, it is of no value at all, and it cannot please God. God is not creating a better flesh, no! He is creating a new mind, a new heart, and its already done, now get this, it is finish!

Christ is our new mind, or new heart, or new life, our new heavens, and we worship in Spirit and truth, not flesh and sight in an earthly prophet. Worship started for Christ in Spirit and truth after his humiliated body was kill by others flesh. Stop seeking glory on earth, if you claim to be of the body of Christ!

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

Col.1:10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 1:11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;
1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; 1:14 in whom we have our redemption,{TR adds "through his blood,"} the forgiveness of our sins;
1:15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 1:16 For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him. 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together. 1:18 He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
1:19 For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him;
1:20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
1:21 You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,
1:22 yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,
1:23 if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.

We need no prophet of flesh and blood to battle with flesh and blood on earth to be glorify, its finish, Christ finished that battle for us, he finishes the race and won it for us, he defeated all the kingdoms of this earth by his resurrection into an incorruptible spirit being. We are to receive that kingdom, none others, we are to receive the new heavens, the mind of Christ, and walk in love. We do not have a battle with flesh, its finish, it will not be made new, it will not be reformed, our battle is with evil spirits, bent on destroying the son's of God, by the corruption the mind of Christ through God's anointed children left on earth, something impossible to do!

Col.2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

If we are looking to the flesh to find a prophet of God to come soon and make a show for us in his flesh in order to turn back hearts to YHWH we have left the unshakable kingdom of God for a fleshly version under the control of flesh of false prophets of God.
Lets us be sure, Christ will be revealed from heaven, not this earth, all eyes will see him, not because of fleshly sight, no! ( not tv's or computers) He will be revealed by Spirit, and all will know his coming. No flesh will stand, the fleshes judgment was finished two thousand years ago, it need not be proved again for fleshly Christian's of the world that believe the saving of the flesh is the all important event of Christ coming, which is not at all!

Matthew 12:39 But he answered them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet.

Matthew 24:30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Mark 8:12 He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation{The word translated "generation" here (genea) could also be translated "people," "race," or "family."} seek a sign? Most certainly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

James. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

Gal. 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

Col.1:10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 1:11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;
1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; 1:14 in whom we have our redemption,{TR adds "through his blood,"} the forgiveness of our sins;
1:19 For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him;
1:20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
