MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1John 2:6 Known by What?

1John 2:6 he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.

How did Jesus walk, under a burden of commandments or in love? Did Christ Jesus free people from the oppression of the Pharisee's or burden them with many more rules and commandments, did he judge one harshly, saying: “ you have not obey the commandments be disfellowship!”

Luke 7:44 Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head. 7:45 You gave me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet. 7:46 You didn't anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

7:47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little." 7:48 He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:42 When they couldn't pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?"

Was the law of Moses for those loving God with their whole heart, mind, and soul, or for those disobedient?

1Tim.1:5 but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith.

1Tim.1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully, 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine.

Love is the end point of our faith which, fulfilled the law perfectly, by willing obedience to God, just as Christ Jesus himself walked, and wants us too be know by. Those promoting harsh rule of laws are not walking in love, they don't believe God is love, or that loving your brothers is enough, here is what John address in his letters, love, trust out of a good conscience.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
