MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1John 3:4,5 Sin Lawlessness?

1John3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness. 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

Why is sin lawlessness? Simply put, sin is death, not life, it is against the law of freedom, so it is without law of love. Sin is not about giving, but taking personal rights, it is about judgment of others, and bring nothing but darkness and death. Sin is yeast to the unleavened bread of Christ Jesus, corrupting the whole lump; so sin is lawlessness, all sin! Here, then was, and is, - the great apostasy setting in during John's time, where ones were preaching laws of the flesh over being in Christ Jesus that take our sins, but how? Simply put, it not about our good works, our good works that are done from lawlessness, not unleavened bread. So it is not about our being made a part of Christ Jesus righteousness, where we have no sin, because of his life imputed too us by God's unmerited kindness.

1John1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we remain in Christ life, we have no sin, but the second we step out of Christ righteous into proving our own righteousness by laws of man, that is, the laws of the flesh, which has built all of Satan system of things, from government, too religion, we are lawless not having the righteousness of Christ Jesus removing our sin.

Romans 2:23 You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God?

This was Satan goal for the body of Christ Jesus; to bring them out of a sinless life of Christ Jesus into the death by laws of the flesh, into a world of unrighteousness, where every effort would be in justifying themselves by good works, as proof of serving God. Satan knew, no man stood sinless - without death, by his own goodness before God. Hence, getting man to try and prove he was sinless by his own efforts by laws of the flesh would corrupt the true wheat of God, in over sowing God's field with law-weed-Christian's.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
