1John 3:17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
It is important for us to love in deed, over words, caveat! Many have used John's words here to scam Christian's out of money, some claiming too be Christian's, seeing their brothers, and sisters money, as their own money, feeling entitled too it because of John's words here.
Subsequently, using words of guilt to get free labor or payment for their association with them. On the other hand, organized religion itself has milked financial support from its members by guilt as will. But is it guilt that motivates God's children/Christian's too give, or is it love; this is a fair question, is it not?
Well, if it is love, than there is no financial gain by our association with them, that is, in demanding funds from another Christian's, why not? It is because of God's love, and not man's love: “in God's love we owe no one anything but love”, so it must be love, and not guilt that motivates the hearts of our brothers and sisters in wanting to share with us as an intimate parts of the same body, in Christ Jesus.
Sadly, it is just the opposite for most weed-Christian's today where the love of the greater number has cooled off into all sorts of schemes in obtaining monies from other members of their group, they have the same spirit as the world, hiding behind the words of the bible, while lusting in their hearts for profit without labor.
This is because they are governed by the laws of their flesh that promotes all man-made government, religions, and business, there is no difference accept in their deceived minds, and hearts, into using the word of God to justify their workings of flesh, and its desires.
1 Corinthians 10:17 Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.
When love is legislated into doctrine or rule of law, it support the spirit of this world. On the other hand, when love is promoted as a free gift, not an obligation, it has no support, or power for this world, and it schemes, it is instead useless for its desires.
How does a hand owe a foot money? The hand wants to serve the foot, it is not an obligation too! In other words, somehow it must be made to happen, it is the brain will, in which the hand ministers too the foot, is it not? How can we owe our brothers and sisters anything but love? If one has no love from the body it cannot be made to get some by laws demanding it, now can it?
Rom. 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
