MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1John 3:24 How Many Commandments?

1John 3:24 He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

Here is the stone of stumbling for those with an evil eye, an evil eye sees only rule of law by commandment(s) it cannot give love freely without first judging it by rule of law as too who is deserving? We as Christian's owe no one anything, but too love them, how can you owe no one anything by commandment(s) demanding debt, instead of love? But if you love, you have fulfilled the commandment(s) to love each other, in which Christ Jesus fulfilled the law for us.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Luke 6:27 "But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Once the spiritual law of freedom, love, is put into rules of laws legislated, it is no longer love, why? Because love owes us nothing but love, law instead requires meeting the rule of law to get love.
It is not a gift, it is a debt owned until we earn the love of the person.

John 5:42 But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.

Luke 13:15 Therefore the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?

Is John now contradicting the free gift of God's love, by saying: “keep the commandment(s) if you do God owes you His love, which is Jesus Christ has given us as a free gift?” Or is John Rather, stating the truth: “if we love God we keep His commandments and we love each other, proving the life of Christ Jesus is in us?”

Luke 6:37 Don't judge, and you won't be judged. Don't condemn, and you won't be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

Hence, it is by this love (Christ Jesus life) we owe each other nothing but love, because we can do no harm too each other in Christ Jesus, proving we keep the commandment to love each other as Christ loved us?

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

In other words, one is the same as all other commandment(s) which is love, one cannot separated love from the other. because love is the commandment, which fulfill all the commandment(s). Love can do no harm to our brothers or our neighbors. Thus, if we love we do not owe a debt for sinning, because love does not account sin creating a debt by law, why? Because love is freely given, and does not hold debts by laws of the flesh, or the Old Law of Moses it cannot or it is no longer love.

1Cor.13:5 love doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;

John 14:21 One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him."

John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."{Psalm 119:45}

It means debts from sin is death, life on the other hand, is free of debt, and sin, it is love, God's love, which has no sin creating debt. Our sins are not accounted against us creating a debt with God. God does not account our sins against us by His love, which is Christ Jesus, who fulfilled the law of our debt for us. Thus, one is sinless in Christ Jesus, because God loves us, and we do not owe God a single things, but love, and we prove we love Him by loving our brothers the same, how?

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

By not creating debts in adding laws to love producing hundreds of rules so they must earn love from us, which is death, by an evil eye accounting debts by laws that we are free from in love.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 15:9 Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
