1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
What! There is no fear in love? Isn't the beginning of wisdom fear of God, is John an apostate? Has the apostle John lost his everlasting mind in saying first one can have no judgment, and than to say perfect love cast out punishment of judgment of God outside? Yes, yes, he did say this!
Can we have “perfect” love so we have no judgment as sinners, yes? Isn't that a lie, all of us fall short of God's glory, we all sin, if we sin we fall short of love, that is, of God, and neighbor so how can a person not have fear of judgment?
Well, let us move on from primary doctrine of law, and ask the question if God loved you, what would owe Him? Judgment or nothing but love? But God certain does not love sin, and we are all sinners, so we must be judged correct?
What does God own Christ Jesus, judgment by laws of the flesh, that is, is Christ Jesus of the flesh, now? So what does God owe Christ Jesus if it is not love? Is not God's love found in Christ Jesus, does not Christ Jesus have God's Holy Spirit, as God's temple, are their laws of the flesh in God's Holy Spirit?
So God loves Christ, now what if God was to give you Christ Jesus perfect life, moreover, what if God were to make you a part of Christ Jesus life, would you be hated by God, or loved by God? Where would your judgment be, in Christ Jesus, or remaining in your sin by self-righteousness of works in laws of the flesh?
If a person cannot move from laws of the flesh into the love of God in Christ Jesus they do not have perfect love they have instead fear of judgment. Moreover, no man has perfect love, not even the elite at the top of some organized religion. Christ Jesus is the only one with perfect love of Father, and perfect loved by his Father, so those in Christ Jesus, that is, not in themselves, by their teaching have no fear of judgment.
They do not stand in their own goodness, or in their flesh before God, rather they stand “In Christ Jesus” by Spirit as Christ is spirit, and the truth.
