1John 5:15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Legalizing prayers is to get rewards for the flesh, saying words in a contract to get favors from God, this is the fleshes understanding of John's words here. Repeating words over and over again is the flesh speaking not the Spirit in God's children bearing witnesses to God's love. But rather the fear of the flesh is misstating a legal word coined by their legal religion.
Legally if they miss a word said incorrectly by their religion definition of God's word the bible they will not have their petition heard before God, and no favor will be given them. God is wicked only giving good gifts to those praying properly with legal understanding of His word.
Rom.8:15 For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba{Abba is an Aramaic word for father or daddy, often used affectionately and respectfully in prayer to our Father in heaven.}! Father!" 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;
But is this what the apostle John was teaching in his letter? No! Does a hand have the spirit of the body in it, what must a hand verbalize to be heard by the head of the body? What legal contract does a hand have with the body for life of the body? How evil is this body, is this the body of Christ Jesus feed and cherished with his own life force, or rather a body of law feed and cherished with judgments of the flesh?
Rom. 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.
How can a hand not be heard if is part of the law of love? What evil apostasy here was being taught too those in Christ, whom he gave his precious sinless life for that they might have life. It was the thoughts of the world under sins laws, the very same stuff that Satan built a world under darkness of sin and death with, laws of the flesh, enslaving the human race to corruption and death.
Legalizing faith by words said correctly or one would not get a hearing from the God that loves them? How foolish the unspeakable fleshly wisdom of the world is too those in Christ Jesus, whose life is their life, who is loved by the Father as God love Christ Jesus, what won't He give us if He gave us His own Son?
Rom.8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
