James 1:11 For the sun arises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits.
Despite the illusion of the rich, the cycle of life continues long after they have deceived their own fleshly mind, and those idolizing them and their wealth.
Name dropping, and boasting, of accomplishment does not stop the cycle the Almighty God Jehovah, who put them into order upon this earth. So the sun comes up, but the the rich person does not as he imagines, he imagines he will be remembered forever upon earth like the sun. No! He is not the sun, not even the moon, or a mountain, nor trees, but a mist, a moment, here but a short time, like a mere flower – then gone!
He can not make himself immortal by his riches, but the lust in his fleshly soul does not believe it, as he yearns to be known among the proud wisdom of this world, every thought, and every effort is chasing the rainbow of self-glory too its tried end. His body should humble him as it fades into more, and more corruption, but it does not, he should remember his own family members that has past into death before him, and the corruption of their own pursuits now vanished, like the wind upon the earth, but his lust of the flesh does not stop.
It is a god that must be nourished with the riches of this world, he must bring all his effort to bow before the god of self, to glorify itself before it perish like the grass of the field, because this one life is all that it has, it is a materialist, it worship by sight, material things of other rich people. Here it finds it food for life, it knows nothing but self-glory, all things done in the it fleshly pursuit is to bring glory to its own goodness.
It does not feed on the bread of life, in Christ Jesus humility, but promotes the Christ, by pried of riches, the doctrine of truth for those perishing like the flower of the mere field trampled upon by wise of this world.
