MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt.5:11 Blessed, Reproached, Hated, Name Sake?

Matt.5:11 "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

How many have died in vain for bible teachings of some religious organization believing they were being persecuted and reproached for the Christ? It is so easy when people hate us and reproaches us too think we are right and the proof is in the persecution. How many cults of done just that, even reproaching themselves by some religious stand of a man within their group having power to have his word enforced upon them, only to be changed within just a few short years or even days, down the road?

But being reproached for the truth is much different, Christ Jesus is the truth eternal, never changing by the sins of mankind, he is incorruptible life and light. We are reproached for being his righteousness in us; it is not about us, but him, Christ Jesus the righteous truth of God. In fact, these are the treasures stored in heaven because that is where Christ be found at his Fathers right hand in glory. So when we are actually persecuted, and reproached for carrying his righteousness as a gift of God we have treasure waiting us in heaven, what treasures, the imperishable life of Christ Jesus.

Yes, we are connected to that life, the only righteous life our Father has declared righteous to give us life, the eternal. Not man, or some teacher in an organized religion is righteous by commandments , but Christ Jesus in fulfilling God's commandments for us that we might have God's peace in our hearts.

Wrangle over laws of religion doctrine is not being reproached for Christ Jesus righteousness who broke down the wall of hostility for us so we could have peace with our Heavenly Father YHWH.
