MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > James 1:14 - Tempted by Our Own Lust

James 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.

How hard is it to be drawn away from God's love, that is, not human love, but the Royal law of love, for God and neighbor? It's about as easy as our fleshly mind which spend its entire life justifying its motives before other men and woman in their flesh!

In other words, it is a constant state of life in our flesh, we count everything, and everyone by merit, what we have earned, and what they have earned. But when we apply this same standard to YHWH we are mislead, and are tempted by our own lust of our own fleshly mind.

Yes, we cam wear ourself out by words in prayer to God justifying why we do and think the way we do, but He is the truth, and He does not lie, so He does not justify our words or our flesh. No! God justifies by the blood of his Son's our sin, not our legal words coming from our unrighteous hearts laced with bible verses. We are enticed by our own fleshly and its words with more fleshly thoughts, we than lust in our hearts producing sin, but none of this has anything do with God! If we did not know God, we would practice the same actions because that is the nature of our fallen flesh.

However, blaming others, such as God, by twisting up the God's word into a legal meaning through doctrines and rules of on organized religion cannot justify our fleshly thoughts. This conduct has nothing to do with God who gives only perfect gifts from above.

We reap the fruit of our thoughts, and that is death, hence, and the problems such thinking causes in us, and others. The truth is God is love, and if we could walk in his love perfectly we would have not sin, so for now each one of us have a choice, to be real. Thus, accepting in faith the provision God has given us for a our lack of love (sin), Christ Jesus precious life, and stop judging God, man, and ourselves, by meaningless dead works found in our fleshly mind, and by those formed into false religion through such fleshly thoughts.
