MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > James 1:27 - Pure Religion?

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Pure religion loves and cherish it own body, so what is the pure religion Jesus Christ and his body members, how can a body not look after its own members in love. The body does not say religious words if a finger is hurting on the same body, it does not act like its cares, the brain does not have to legislate a person to look after the hurting finger on the hand of the body.

It does not have to make the body help the finger, no! The law of the body is part of the personality of the body, it does exactly what it was created to do. The body does not keep records of its good works it has done in help other parts of its own body; now does it? All the foolishness of false religion is just that, unloving, unkind foolishness, because it is not a new creation, it is rather an old creation that must be told how to act in truth and love. It does not want to act in love, it must be constantly reminded it must act like the the true tree of life Christ Jesus. Then, what does it do, but steal the glory that goes to Christ, for being made to act like its is religious.

How foolish the unrighteous flesh heart is in saying religious words that deceive it own hearts. Christ Jesus is the King not the religion of some fleshly minded men making other act good. Here James says what each person a part to the true tree of Christ Jesus righteousness produces in pure religion the fruit of Holy Spirit which looks after the weak.
