James 2:1 My brothers, don't hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality.
Does God pervert justice? Is God partial when applying His laws too us? In other words, does God have one rule for those he calls His children and those that are called not His children, the world? Here is the point James addresses, Christian's would have you believe God has two sets of scales. Saying: “we are justified by our good works whereas those not teaching the truth and doing good works God is going to destroy, God favors us.”
But is this truth? No! It is not truth, all men are sinners deserving of death by God's righteous laws, all men! God does not justify evil, and He does not say its OK because a person belongs to a certain religion. What God does say is that we can accept Jesus Christ as our justification because we cannot do it on our own, hence, we our born into sin. That invitation is open to all of us by our faith in God, not man's religions.
Man religions have shown much partiality to is own, claiming the power to open and close for God's the door into the Kingdom which is Christ Jesus. They favor only those giving obedience to their form of religion while despising those not. They elevated men over others in their religion giving the honor and worship them in the form of powerful position. All this partiality is not of God, it is of the flesh, and it is unrighteous to those in the body of Christ Jesus where there is not position of men, but members of a body created for God's glory in love to minister to others members therein.
A Christian must ask, is God partial, does God apply the Law of freedom to me, that is, the law of love, or does He apply another law of the flesh too me? Does God than have another standard for those not of my faith? Do I have the right to have two standards of judgment, one for those in by family of faith and one for those not my family? Is God injustice, or does He hold out His love for all that act upon it in faith?
