MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > James 2:5 - God Choose The Poor

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

The flesh never choose the poor or the weak, it always gets it wrong in idolizing the strong, it loves the powerful, and the strong it builds its kingdom upon this darkness. It hates the weak and does not want to be seen with the poor unless it can make a name for itself in helping the poor so the rich will honor them!

Why did God chose the poor of this world to make them part of the body of Christ the riches place in this world and the next for spiritual blessing? Well that is something the flesh cannot know, because it is very proud of itself and does not want to look bad in its flesh and that is why it cannot know the truth.

Those loving truth must look up, they cannot look to the side, left or right in justifying themselves by how other people look worst than them. This conduct is the evil of the flesh, it never come up higher than looking to the flesh; someone else, which is all that matters. But those walking in Spirit and truth must come up to the highest mountain of YHWH, where Christ Jesus is seated in God's glory. They must compare their righteousness against Christ - coming up short in their flesh where they accept God unmerited gift of kindness to them in the precious perfect life of His own Son.

Within this spirit body there is no position of rich and poor only truth and love, there is none that have placed themselves in position by unrighteous means of lust for power and fame. There is only the Christ and his righteousness, none other earned or boasted in by fleshly men seeking fame.

Christ chose those that could look up, not those looking down on others by religion, power or wealth.
