James2:15 And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, 2:16 and one of you tells them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled;" and yet you didn't give them the things the body needs, what good is it?
Why would love have to be legislated to your own body? It would be for only one reason a fleshly mind that looks to the rule of law to keep from showing love and compassion. In other words, a doctor may tell a person not to treat a certain part of their body because its is going to make matters worst. That is, it may take longer to heal the wound if the body is not forced into creating its own anti-bodies.
When the body of Christ entrust itself to doctors of faith, that is, those claiming to be qualified by some school of religious higher learning, rather than simply showing the love of Christ Jesus, they have been deceived by legal wicked reasoning. Showing love towards a member of our body in Christ Jesus is not an unnatural act, it is rather written into the heart of Christ Jesus, and us as body members, it should be the first thing we do, and not the last. But James was dealing with the last thing because these Christian's were not practicing, love, why? Because just as all the apostles had to deal with, the body of Christ was slowly becoming a legal institution.
Yes, by the fleshly mind set upon righteousness by law was infiltrating the thinking of members of the body Christ Jesus. This thinking is, and was, very powerful it is the nature of the flesh, the very fiber of the fleshly mind under the sins of Adam, and what is that? To misrepresent God's love by legally choosing and judging right and wrong by a mundane fleshly mind based upon commandments that makes a person love.
The fact James had to tell them to show love towards a brother or sister in need proved they were walking in the fleshly mind. What James was not doing as many false religion do, was setting up a new rule of law making members of the body of Christ Jesus love one another, what a defeat for those who claim they have the love of God in them!
