James 2:18 Yes, a man will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without works, and I by my works will show you my faith.
What does faith produce? Well, for the legal minded Christian's works in obeying the law of their religion, or the rule of the laws of the lands, but for those in Christ Jesus it is the works of the Holy Spirit marking them as Christ by the identifying mark of Holy Spirit love, whose love? Once more, there is the love of law of the fleshly mind which produces merit love, what is a merit love? Merit love is inferior to God's love, it is based on earning by obeying the rule of law through the sinful fleshly mind of Adam past on to us outside of Christ Jesus life.
This love, is the love of institutional religion, government, and business of Satan system outside of the love of Christ Jesus. What is the love Christ? God's love, what is God's love? It is freedom in the Royal law of love which produce fruits of Holy Spirit in us, which works are the very life of Christ Jesus in truth and Spirit. What it is not, is legislated rules of law created for the evil making them do good as all religion, government, and business incorporate to make people perform good works.
James had a gift of God's love, Holy Spirit that gave him faith, that faith put him into the life of Christ Jesus which produce good works of Holy through him for others. The proof of being in the life of Christ Jesus is the fruit of Holy Spirit, not works of law.
