Daily Bible Thought > Daily Bread - Matt.6:11

Matt.6:11 Give us today our daily bread.

When a fleshly taught Christian's thinks of daily bread, first, and foremost, they think of their daily physical needs, however, God humbled an entire fleshly nation for just such thinking, who was that nation?

YHWH humbled the nation of Israel in the wilderness under Moses showing them it was not by bread alone that mankind lived, but from the word of God. Well, who is the Word of God, Christ Jesus, the bread of life, eternal life, which is the point of life for Christian's, not this life, but the next life is our real life.

So why do we need to partake of Christ Jesus spiritual life each day as the bread of life? It is because without Christ communing with us we walk by flesh and put all emphasis on saving this life. We cannot walk in Spirit and truth, we instead focus our entire life into this life, calling it Christ Jesus righteousness which is a lie. The lust of our flesh is not his works, but of this world! The flesh has a mind of yeast which produce lust and desires, which are dead in Christ Jesus life, who is our bread of life.

We cannot walk in the our flesh, and have the mind of Christ Jesus the two are opposed to each other, because the flesh is against the Spirit of God so it is opposed to the mind of Christ Jesus, it cannot know God, nor is it of any value to God, and his law of love. The life of Christ Jesus is unleavened bread, free of sin, and of the laws controlling our fleshly mind.

Subsequently, we must be given daily bread by God, which is the life of Christ Jesus helping us endure in our flesh upon this earth. We must walk humbly and be feed, lead, and directed by Holy Spirit into belonging to Christ Jesus God's Spiritual temple where the unleavened bread of life is found, and incorruptibly feed too us by the body of Christ Jesus.

John 6:32 Jesus therefore said to them, "Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn't Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

John 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

John 6:34 They said therefore to him, "Lord, always give us this bread."

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.
