MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt. 6:24 - Serve Two Masters?

Matt.6:24 "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon.

Can a hand on your body serve another body as its member and be loyal too your brain? Well, this is the point, those belonging too Christ Jesus as his body members, the temple of God, do not belong too themselves, but too the body of Christ, purchased for the body, and its will, not too another body, do you really understand?

There are only two bodies in God's eyes, the body of Christ Jesus where eternal life for us is restored, and a body of sin/flesh, which has laws of the fleshly mind that bring us death, which is opposed to the body of Christ Jesus having the mind of God for us. We are either grafted into the body of Christ Jesus, or we are apart of the body having a fleshly mind, its that simple!

When we seek anything other than Christ Jesus we must use the fleshly mind and the rules of this world opposed too God for us to have it, in this case the love of money. Love, which is the law of Christ Jesus, has its affection set upon one master, and pleasing that master, it does not lie as the fleshly mind does, how? By justifying itself before others constantly; justification is the fabric fleshly minds whole being. So when the fleshly mind wants to live in sin, or evil opposed to the mind of Christ Jesus its justifies it actions by some good that its does with its money for Christ Jesus or God.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

The fleshly mind is also a liar it cannot know God, and love Him because its lives by the laws of the flesh, which are sins laws. Although, the fleshly mind is intellectual in the wisdom of this world, and very capable of building massive amounts of money, It is not the mind of Christ building up spiritual riches stored in heaven for those loving him, and His Father. The fleshly mind further takes God's word from love into a legal definition which justifies unrighteousness so it may legally seek riches based on laws that condemn others from pointing out this lust, greed, and/or covetousness in the flesh minds heart, where it boast in the name of God YHWH, and His Son Christ Jesus as justifying its own greed.

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

James 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Don't the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?
