Here any thinking person with an honest heart would conclude that the wisdom from above, Jesus Christ, God's place of wisdom for the body of Christ is not from oneself, but from above as a gifts wherein the rightful place of Christ Jesus.

How does one get God's wisdom, is it from the bible, books, religion, and/or being made part of Christ Jesus the eternal tree producing fruit of God's wisdom? Well, those with a fleshly mind believe they can produce the fruits of wisdom by self-effort, what type of self-efforts? Meeting a few of God's commandments will, but is this a lie or the truth? Simply put, if it is a lie than the fruit on their own self-righteous tree will not be the fruit of wisdom mention here by James. However, if a person find some good fruit of wisdom, and also some evil fruits of earthly and demonic origin like jealousy, than is this God good tree, no! Why not?
James3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
Because a good tree cannot produce any earthly demonic fruit, or it is not a good tree, it is a lie, deceiving others and ourselves by some good fruit. You see a good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit so who is lying, us, our religion, or God? Those loving truth judge themselves by truth not the lie, they know without a doubt they are not the good tree, and appreciate God's unmerited kindness in making them a part of Christ Jesus, they don't live the lie by teaching they can meet God's commandment's producing the fruits of wisdom from self-goodness, self-efforts, which is nothing more than self-righteousness.
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
No! Those with the truth, that is, those a part of the life of Christ Jesus the good tree teaches truth, which is, if they are a part of Christ Jesus the commandment's are fulfilled because Christ fulfilled them for us sinner whom could not in a million years by our own good works meet God's commandments without sin.

What truth teaches is Christ Jesus as God's finish works, and our being made a part of him by God's love, not our own, we than teach the truth that we are not the good tree, we are not truth, or God's wisdom, we have those things because of Christ Jesus finish works, and God's love given too us as sinners deserving of death! Not by any righteousness of our own, but instead God's unmerited kindness by Christ Jesus works giving us earned merit; a standing before God, so He may give us his wisdom in Jesus Christ.
