Matt.7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.
Why did Jesus suddenly changes his thought here? He goes, from our throwing Perls before dogs, and pigs into asking, and seeking, you will find? Many Christians believe by arguing over doctrine, and/or Bible verses they find the truth. But this is a lie! Why? Because it is of the works of our fleshly mind, this is how the fleshly mind works, but it is not how the holy spiritual mind of Christ Jesus works or learns.
Those having the mind of Christ learn in peace through trusting that God will give them understanding if they rest in faith. They do not fear like dogs fighting over a bone for knowledge, beating their opponent in winning them knowledge of everlasting life. Instead, they use the holy mind of Christ understanding that complete trust in God as love builds their faith in resting that He wants to share the knowledge of everlasting life with them, freely as a perfect gift of His love.
Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. Seeking truth, and a simply knock, will open God's floodgate of knowledge to the body of Christ. God is not evil, like the fleshly mind competing, and yearning jealousy towards others that might seemingly have greater biblical knowledge than us. This type of thinking does not exist in the mind of Christ. There is no jealousy of the flesh in Christ Jesus, there is no fear that a lack of knowledge will cause it destruction.
Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
The spiritual mind is under the Royal of love, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, because love never fails, which is the mind of Christ Jesus.
