MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt. 7:12 - Golden Rule

Matt.7:12 Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Do you want to be judged by the law, or commandments that a sinful human being cannot keep on their very best day? Fair question, because most people using God's word the bible are highly judgmental, towards others not in their faith, or those they call the world.

However, the important obvious question is does God Himself treat us like we deserve for not keeping His righteous standards? For that matter, did Christ Jesus dish out by laws what we deserve? Yet, not one person on this earth can put away sin, or put away the filth of their own flesh, which means the sins of our flesh? We cannot be righteous by our own good efforts so why would we not treat others as we want to be treated by God, in understanding and forgiveness? It is because most Christian's really think they can be righteous by doing some good, or obeying some commandment, but they are very deceived. God does not look at our good, and say: “Your good works in obeying my commandments makes you righteous enter into life”

No! He does not! God's works are finished in Christ Jesus good works by Christ Jesus own faith, while he was upon earth, which righteousness is imparted too us by our faith in him. So just as the Israelite's, and the Egyptian had to put the blood on their door post of the pass-over lamb, so God's angel of destruction pass-over their house when seeing the blood, hence, God pass over our sins in the blood of Christ Jesus that make us righteous. What does this have to do with the Gold Rule, nothing if your self-righteous thinking you have the legal right too judge others by your faith, but everything if you love God's undeserved kindness towards you.
