MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Cor.4:1 Stewardship a Mysteries?

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries.

Jesus said to his followers that anyone that does not come through the door into the sheep pen, but climbs up another way is a thief and robber, Paul here says that Christian's are servants of Christ, what did he mean? From a humble beginning in Christ rejected by most of God's people would spout some forty thousands religion(s) of our day, all claiming to be the way into the sheep pen, all displaying in one form or another good and bad fruit. All helping and yet hurting ones in the sheep pen, but are they servants of Christ Jesus, or servants of a man made religion(s) using God's word to steal what rightfully belongs to Christ Jesus?

If a fish swims in the water we know it does so according to the way it was created, but few Christian's understand how their own sinful flesh has patterns that repeat itself throughout all generations of mankind into our own day? The flesh takes ownership of what ever it loves, much as a dog, sadly claiming what ever is in its area, as his own. This is the very nature of the sinful flesh. Once it is given the word of God it possesses it with ownership, than fights to hang on too its territory, but the word of God is a gift to humans whom show love. Thus, ownership in the body of Christ Jesus does not exist because there is no flesh in the spiritually body, but instead spiritually lives as member belonging to each other for the good function of the body.

Matthew 7:6 "Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Thus, all members can be no more than a servant too the rest of what they were created for, Christ Jesus, should it surprise us that Jehovah God called them Christian's as belonging too Christ Jesus as his servant? They are not servants to an organization that is not their calling, or to a church, or to another human, but to Christ Jesus for it is His will, as the head of his body. Hence, in that state they would be brothers and sisters working as one person for the good of Christ Jesus will upon earth, and in heaven.

Here fleshly Christian's wanted ownership being label with a name of a certain teacher in the congregation, or group, which proved they were fleshly, not spiritual, they were repeating the pattern found in all sinful flesh rather in religion, business, or government unwittingly. Because they were fleshly strong willed, fiercely in fighting for scriptural territory did not mean they were spiritual servant of Christ Jesus. They were fleshly, fighting blindly out of fear in losing what they thought they owned or had gained, but Christ Jesus stated; “what you think you have will be taken away”, why? Because what is given to God's children in the body of Christ Jesus are gifts, not personal possession.

Matt.13:11 He answered them, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 13:12 For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn't have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.
