MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Cor.4:4 - I Know Nothing Against Myself?

1Cor. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.

Paul states a hard fact that no Christian can get around; nothing he could do, or say, justified him before God, as a human being his justification had to be given too him by God. However, the weakness of the sinful flesh is to justify itself before others, the whole scope of life in the flesh is by earning merit of worthiness. From birth to death humans are justifying their thoughts and actions to others, sadly, this constant state of justifying what we do deceives our own heart into thinking God is a man, and we must justify ourselves before Him with many words.

But the Almighty God knows our real condition even if we don't, even if we deny it before others. This condition of self-justification makes all men liars, they cannot be congruent with truth, in which faithful spirit creatures are. This is why we don't fine in God's words the bible of angels talking a whole lot, or making excuses like sinful humans do, they are congruent with truth having no fallen flesh, which is always justifying their untruthful actions with words. Paul bring us into God's reality, Paul had been justified by Christ Jesus merit in the free gift of God's love, but even in this Paul understood that his judgment of self-justification was untruthful no matter how he felt about himself, or what others thought of him.

Moreover, fleshly Christian's in Corinthian's were justifying teachers as some of them being in a better position than others by their teachings, but this was false also, none were justified without Christ Jesus merit given too them as a free gift. No person on earth can be justified as a sinner before God, they must receive the merit of Christ Jesus sinless life, as a free gift of God's own love, this is their justification, not teachings about Christ Jesus, or so called truth of doctrine they were promoting. Furthermore, no personalities can be justify before God no matter how wonderful they are, or how pleasing they are too watch, and listen too they, none are in a better position than Paul found himself in when comparing himself against Christ Jesus righteousness.
