MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Cor.4:13 - Filth on The Hands?

1Cor.4:13 Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

How sad does this make Yahweh and His Son Christ Jesus, to have a child a friend and watch them be treated as filth and dirt wipe off a person hands? There are no words that can speak such pain, nothing could disgrace God's name more upon earth, how could these Christian's in Corinthian's gone so far as not to know God's love for His children, how could they of all people on earth done such disgrace to God's own Son who gave his very life so they might live and be reconciled too His Father?

What disease had affect their minds and body of this Christian's, so they would treat the body of Christ as dirt? The disease of pride, the pride of the Devil in glorifying himself upon earth over others because God loved Adam and Eve, yes, Satan had enter into the hearts of these brothers and sisters, with material blessings, and the grasping for power over others. Look at the world and its politics, how people love the intrigue of it all, the power, the excitement of war, winning verbal battles, defeating the enemy for the good of the greater number. Simply put, these Christian's were running their own life in the name of Christ Jesus practicing the works of the flesh veiled in the name of truth and justices.

Yes, the pattern of the flesh, find the good in the evil justifying our position as truth. Then, defeat anyone that dare come up against us, with line after line of God's word to back their position. But these false teachers did not realize, Paul had the living word in his spirit and heart, power that none of them wanted to play with, would Paul use such power to rebuke this budding apostasy from the foundation of the Christ, or go along with it, accepting glory and honor for starting the Corinthian congregation taking the best seat in the house so too speak?

First Paul would reason on the Christ and the position of his body on earth, proving for those wanting to suffer for the Christ the truth, but later, his words would be found as a weapon to slaughter those defying the very imperishable life of Christ Jesus. Yes, Paul was the messenger and Christ Jesus with the sword of fire that would punishes those mocking Christ kingship, and his slaves upon earth. Until Christ had firm established his foundation of faith so that the entire building could be constructed for some two thousand years, none would come against the temple until God's appointed time the restraint removed. Today we as Christian's live in a field of weeds, with a very fine sprinkling of wheat, but still we can go back in truth, and spirit, and build on the foundation of Christ Jesus, although, this action will cause us the very treatment Paul received; it is proof positive the temple of God exist still upon earth today. Here we have the markings of truth if we are so inclined to suffer with God's anointed, here we have the touch stone laid by Paul, so no confusing spirit should exist if we search for the truth our Father will give us without reproaching the life of Christ Jesus.

1Cor.4:14 I don't write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

Paul chose his words here carefully, the flesh punishes into guilt there is a fine line between guilt and love, the body of Christ Jesus is govern by love, and the freedom of Spirit, which has set body members free from guilt of sin in the undeserved gift of Christ Jesus life. Those fleshly teacher were using guilt in Christ Jesus to manipulate ones into going along with their ways. This is the process of worldly wisdom in creating guilt to make people to something they don't really want to do. But Paul understood God's children served Him because they wanted too out of love, the love governing the body of Christ Jesus.

A person loving wisdom, which is, Christ Jesus, for the body of Christ want to be admonish to hold too the faith, they don't despise being encouraged to do what is correct, rather they realize it is one more gift God has given too members of the body to help them stay in Christ Jesus, by focusing their mind's on the things above, and not each others faults. This was the type of admonishment Paul was giving, a loving strengthening of their faith. He was not trying to have his way, or trying to make himself look better, or defending his position so he didn't lose face among the brothers.

No! Such fleshly control was not Paul's concern here, it was the Christ and nothing but the Christ impaled for these brothers, and sisters, so they might walk in faith. Paul understood what many of us today do not, the body was Christ Jesus, and he was, but one more member of it, what he said was for the body, and not his glory, it was Christ Jesus speaking through him for he had stated that he loved and cherished body, it would be Christ that would enforce his own words through Paul, not Paul using guilty.

1Cor.4:15 For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.

Jesus made it clear that we as God's own children are not to be calling any man upon earth Father, or our leader, we are all brothers in Christ Jesus, so was Paul here setting himself up as the father of the Corinthian congregation going directly against Christ Jesus words too him? Well, should we take one verse out of context to all Paul's writings we could build a worldwide empire of false religion were we call some human in the sinful flesh our Father on earth.

Paul has just spoken above of how he was despised and looked down upon by the world, how each of the apostles had been treated as the off scouring of the world, so he was a father to this congregation, but not in the wisdom of the world, or the love of kingship over the congregation , but in suffering in Christ Jesus for the Good News. If he was the father or starter of this congregation is suffering how could they now have the worldly wise ruling over them a king teachers?

Nothing in all of Paul's writings ever hinted of anything idol worship, but Christ Jesus, and him impaled for the congregation of God, in fact, Paul would later stand against some of Christ own apostles for seeking the glory of man's approval, instead of accepting the Gentiles believer as part of the congregation of Christ.
