James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
But God is not partial in His righteous judgment like a tree with many shadows under it changing from minute to minute as the sunlight crosses the sky. God is light never changing into darkness, His judgments are always righteous and just. It is man judgments from self-righteousness that creates darkness, and not light, calling evil good! Subsequently, here is Christ Jesus point, those trusting in themselves, like the Scribes and Pharisee's thinking the law declared them righteous by good works were lawless, and in a false kingdom, not with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, they were never a part of, nor would these unrighteous Jews be apart of God's kingdom, because a great chasm existed between the two group, why?
Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
God is light, and they were darkness by self-rightness, they judged by God's law, but it did not make them light or the righteousness of God's Kingdom, Christ Jesus is God's righteousness for His Kingdom, why? Because Christ Jesus earned by his own sinless life the right to life, by the meeting the Old Law without sin. Hence, Christ replaced the Old Law judgment for Christian's by God imputing his righteous life too them as a gift unearned.
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
1Cor. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
But these Jews hated Christ Jesus accounting him as evil, having a demon, as the least of the prophets by their judgment of him through God's laws, they were self-right by their own judgment in meetings their rule of law. However, they would find in standing before the throne of God's own righteousness, Christ Jesus, they could not stand by their great boast in upholding the commandment's, and destroying spiritual lives of others by their judgments, because they trusted in themselves, in their own goodness, and judgment thinking if they used God's laws they were justified in executing those law upon those they had judged sinners.
Shocked and stunned they would weep and gnash their teeth in darkness from their own self-righteous, which proved to be darkness, and not the light when judged to find out that only one righteousness stands before God, and it was not their, or their judgments using God's commandment's, but Christ Jesus, the righteous blood they should have humbly accepted as salvation to put away the filth of their own flesh in not meeting God righteous commandment's!
1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
