MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Cor.4:18 - Power of The Christ?

1Cor.4:18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 4:19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 4:21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

The twister of truth Satan the Devil, the great master of fleshly laws, the lawyer of faith, by the uses of many words. Every man that justifies himself by words, is claiming a lie; he follows in the foot steps of his Father the Devil. Any person putting their pride of argument above the truth of Christ Jesus, is preaching a Good News based on human righteousness. Any person doling out God's unmerited love by their doctrinal truth is himself a sinner not under God's grace.

Romans 15:17 I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.

What wisdom is shown in dissecting words into legal logic to prove the truth of God love by faith. What accurate definition of Greek or Hebrew can one argue, while denying the power of Christ Jesus in harsh judgments? What wisdom do we have when the word love offends our very sensibilities as weak and beggarly? What spirit do we process when we dissect the word love into legal argument to protect our critical judgments against others? Claiming the wisdom of God by intellectual knowledge of doctrinal arguments, but proving false to it power always learning, but unable to come to a knowledge of Christ Jesus, because he does not reside in them, nor are they a part of him, denying the very the power of his life, while enslaving others by words, from these turn away.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.

2tim.3:6 For of these are those who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
