MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Cor.6:2 - Saints Judge the World?

1Cor.6:2 Don't you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

The biggest matter in the eyes of fleshly men and woman is the lost of material things, these are the judgments for the flesh that need to be resolved right now! The fruitage of the Spirit does not come into play when some one takes advantage of the fleshes material things, it rather requires justice, and power of laws to punishes, and yes, if necessary destroy those taking what is mine.

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness}
5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

How could spiritual men in the congregation help with these problems, who were under the law of love, all they would do is use Jesus Christ example in dealing with the problem, how would that help is punishing their neighbor, or in getting their material things back?

Matt.5:40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. 5:41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you.

How could a person learn anything by forgiving debt, no! Punishment and throwing a person into jail until they paid out their last coin of small value was much more effective. Isn't this how one should treat a brother that knows better, yes, punishment! What could men in Jesus Christ offer those walking in the flesh in the way of help, nothing! This was the thinking in Corinthian congregation, and still is that way today; this life, and it material things had become so much more important than following Christ Jesus, and suffering injustice on earth, letting oneself be wronged for a few short years in the flesh, which is like a mist, here today, and gone tomorrow.

These fleshly brothers and sister were so blinded by unrighteous riches they could not see they had in their mist the Christ, and his Saints which would set all creation free from the enslavement of corruption into the glorious freedom of the Son's of God, no, they simply could not see spiritually. They themselves had been freed from laws of man into the law of God, love, they had been forgiven the greatest debt, but were begrudging not forgiving of others their debts.
