This woman must act upon faith, Christ was not going to make her drink from the waters of life, he was not going too peddle the truth as some do in false religions, he was not going to use coercive measure to get this woman to believe. No! But why? Simply put, the operation of the Holy Spirit had given this woman enough thoughtful encouragement to put faith in the Son of God.
This woman would learn as we all must learn God is not far off from each one of us, if we ask, he is not evil as we are because of sin, and still we give our children and friends good gifts, how much more so the God of love? God has divine appointments he brings people into our lives, or speak too us quietly by Holy Spirit teachings us his wisdom, he gives us a fish not a serpent when we ask him for truth.
Yes, this woman had been seeking truth, she was heard by God, and in God's way and time he set up this divine appointment outside of Christ Jesus commission to go just too the Jews. Many lessons can be gleaned from God's love, faith is a powerful tool in God acting in our behave beyond all rules of humans. Hence, God loves our faith, which moves mountains for us when we ask, not doubting at all God will give us waters beyond our greatest expectations as he did this Samaritan woman.
