John.4:39 From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything that I did." 4:40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days. 4:41 Many more believed because of his word.
What does a legalistic Christian's do with Christ actions here? What do they do with Abraham's faith in offering up his own son Isaac upon altar to God, willing too cut his throat? How does a legalistic fleshly minded Christian fit such breaking of God's law into their doctrine?
John 10:20 Many of them said, "He has a demon, and is insane! Why do you listen to him?"
John 10:21 Others said, "These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It isn't possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?"{Exodus 4:11}
Do these statements shock you! Is God worried about religious correctness in not offending us? No! No! And No! Christ breaks God's law in speaking to people those he was not sent to first the Jews, but instead a Samaritan's woman, and than more Samaritan's. Christ opens the doors too the Samaritan's to his coming kingdom long before Peter talked to the Gentles, what are we to think?
This is the problem for legal Christian's, what is a legal Christian? They are a person that believes they can earn salvation by being perfect in obeying the commandments, and/or laws of the bible. Such legal Christian's are forced into a legal definition of God's word the bible to justify every act of faith in the bible according to their legal understanding, which usually comes from a legal organized religion. Moreover, without this contract with God, a legal contract constructed from God's word the bible into doctrines, they have fear, much fear of judgment because they cannot be perfect in knowledge another work of law! In other words, they must have all the fine print read carefully every day for salvation, because their God is evil God looking to judge them as evil for not meeting their contract perfectly.
Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:
However, whom can judge the faith of another, a legal Christian's as they do Abraham's faith, Christ and all the prophets of God faith. How do they judge faith by works of law, what? What is a work of law. It is a law that says your conduct is right or wrong according to the laws of sin. God is not under sin laws, nor is anyone walking in faith towards God. But legal Christian's use just such laws to judge why Christ spoke to a unclean Samaritan woman, they divide up whom is their neighbor, brother and sister, even whom they can pray for, whom they can legally talk too and associated with.
Rom.14:4 Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
However, one constant truth escapes their notice that for every rule of law or commandment within God's word the bible there is another example of someone faithful to God breaking it, and/or contradicting it!
1Cor.4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
