MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Rom.11:1 - Did God Reject His People?

Rom.11:1 I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

All or nothing this is the thought of a legal mind we either are accepted completely, or we are rejected completely! But God is more, much more, His judgments are not made with prejudice towards a nation or a man. He alone is good and impartial. If Israel was rejected it wasn't on a national level, just because a person associated with a certain group, no!

Matt.24:4 Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray. 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.

Such thinking is small ball, human wickedness, Paul was living proof God hadn't rejected Israel, the very apostles of Christ were all from the Jewish faith, but such was the thinking of the fleshly mind. Lumping everyone into a group and than hating them, calling them evil, not worthy of God's love. Religion does that world wide, governments to that world wide, sports teams do that world wide, and people will do that depending on your job, vehicle, books you read, and movies you watch.

Rom.2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Rom.2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; 2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

The fleshly mind is a sin mind, set upon judging, it lives to judge, and judges to live. Judging is the food for the fleshly mind, not the bread of life coming down from above in every good gift, the Christ.

Each member of the Christ Jesus was chosen of God not because they were a certain nationality, or because they had some special position or wisdom, no! They were chosen because of another person specialness in giving them his precious righteous life so they could know our Heavenly Father YHWH, extended to each hair of your head, to each nation, religion, person, and age, no one is left out, or rejected by the precious blood of Christ.

Rom. 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. 3:29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,
3:30 since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.

Paul would argues this point here in Chapter Eleven of Roman's, taking the fire out of the hands of the Jews, and the Gentile's. God's Holy Spirit is marked for all the world to see and known by love, not division and hate. If these wanted to be approved of God, they must not go back to the evil of fleshly worldly thinking by position creating a competition in the name of God and Christ.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members? 4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}
