Rom.11:16 If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.
Here is the problem with legalistic fleshly minded works of law Christian's, they teach holiness by self-works of meeting a rule of law. Holiness, comes from the root, not the branches! If a person understand the process of grafting into a good tree, by a branches from a bad tree they would understand the simple truth of humility, which is this:
No good tree produce bad fruit, and no bad tree produces good fruit. Let your, yes, mean yes, and your no, no, for what is in between if from the Devil. Either your a bad tree, and you have been grafted into a good tree producing its fruit making your fruit good/holy, or your a bad tree lying about your sinful fruit. Here, in context to all the Greek Scriptures Paul stating the undeniable truth of Christ Jesus. If your in Christ Jesus, grafted into Christ the fruit is not yours, hence, the holiness is not your.
Matt.5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
Matt. 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.
On the other hand, if you want to be from the fleshly Israel and produce bad fruits of works of law, from Adam's sin than stop lying and teaching, proclaiming your holiness comes from the works of the Old Law, or for that matter any laws that make you think you can earned salvation by the roots of an unholy tree/sin, which is yourselves as a condemned sinner. One is either made holy, or they are not? No sinner can be holy before God without being made of the lump of holiness, unleavened bread without sin, Christ Jesus. One cannot take unholy yeast bread and make a new lump calling it holy.
1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
Stop lying that you are holy by obedience to the commandments, you cannot be holy by obedience, you can be holy by being grafted into the root of holiness through Christ obedience, not by your own works of laws/good works. Finally, stop being presumptuousness, in teaching hate through judgments of sins laws; sinless people are not judged by God! Isn't that the whole point of the bible to bring people back to a sinless state so God can be their Father again? Those in Christ, are grafted into the root of holiness having no sin, for the tree is sinless so to are the branches on the tree, does a sinless person need commandments that condemn them as sinner pushed down their sinless throat so you can feel superior to maintain your position as teacher of works of law?
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God didn't appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace.
Lets us soberly look at Paul's word here in context, the issues was nothing more than ones proclaiming they own holiness through some set of rules, laws, commandments, and/or position.
