MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John.15:1,2. - The Source of Eternal Life?

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

How does one put out a fire when the source of fuel comes from an everlasting source? In other words, if you can't find the source to cut it off, how do you extinguish the fire? Christ Jesus is that everlasting source of fuel for the branches upon his vine/tree, those branches cannot stop producing fruit because the source is the imperishable life of Christ Jesus.

Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of Yahweh.

The problem with most Christian's they never find the source of fuel they take instead an inferior source of fuel labeling it truth by religious doctrine through some organizations. Such an inferior fuel source it highly combustible in works of the flesh, but it is not Holy Spirit found in the life source of Christ Jesus coursing through the branches on his vine.

Matthew 25:8 The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'

James 5:14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

Self-preservation is not a word associated with Christ or God/YHWH, there is no other life source for mankind than the life of the vine Christ Jesus. On must receive this life in the vine to have eternal life of Christ Jesus. For it is the eternal life of Christ in the vine, it is not the life of human on earth mixed with Christ eternal life, no! But why? For to be a branch on this vine a person must be dead to self, and a live to the life in the vine that being Christ Jesus eternal life too us.

James 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

There can be no confusion for a born again Christian's about this matter, they as an individual person do not exist separate from the vine of Christ the source of eternal life for the fruit on the vine. Hence, the fruit on this vine of Christ Jesus must produce fruit of eternal life, not fruit of the flesh. The workings of our own hands are not the working of God for eternal life, but why? It is because common sense dictates the only source of eternal life is in the vine, not in our works outside the vine. One must faithfully lead others to the source of eternal life, not some business, or organized religion that does good works, by fleshly acts calling it Christ Jesus fruit.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.

Moreover, this is why so many have their faith in Christ destroyed in our world, by doing works outside the everlasting source of eternal life by Holy Spirit to find destruction of their faith, a fruit of the vine; Christ life flowing too its branches increasing the fruit of faith!

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness}
