MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Rom.11:27 - Take Our Sins Forever?

Rom.11:27 This is my covenant to them, when I will take away their sins."{Isaiah 59:20-21; 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34}

How did an Israelite take away their sins? Many thought by being more obedient to God's law, trying hard to keep the commandments, comparing their efforts against some other brother or sister of Israel, in this your thought?

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

Will, the only way an Israelite could stand right before God was the blood upon the Altar from God's own mercy paying the price by an innocent life. It was not the Israelite efforts in keeping the law. Was the law than evil, no! Sin was evil and the law convicted every Israelite of sin, not being able to keep the law like Christ Jesus a perfect man without sin.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Subsequently, Paul speaks above at something so grand that the whole of Israel hardly understood it or accepted it, and what was that? It was God would take their sins away once for all time, yes, once for all time, but how?

Hebrews 9:12 nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.

God would paid the ultimate price for their sins by the precious everlasting blood of Jesus Christ, His own Son! No longer would they need to go to God's physical temple upon earth for yearly atonement of their sins. Instead God removed their sins once for all time in Christ Jesus blood, but here is the point they were missing at Paul's time and in our own times, and what is that?

That God removed the instrument judging sin, replacing it with a law that does not judge sin, what? Yes, there is no judgment for a sinless person, did you hear that? If your sinless, or made sinless by Christ Jesus blood than you have no judgment by law created to judge sin. Does this shock you? Will it does most of us, because we still sin, and we cannot separate sin from judgment.

Hebrews 9:26 or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}
8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

However, this is the point of the entire Greek scriptures, which is, we walk not by sight of judgment under the laws of sin, but faith in the law of love, which means, we don't believe in ourselves as being good enough, but instead in God, and his love, towards us being good enough in giving us Christ Jesus once for all time removing our sin forever!

Such talk was evil to a Jews whom were harsh in judgment by the laws of God, hearing the words undeserved kindness outrage the spirit in their flesh into killing Christ disciples. Nothing was undeserved in their religious life, they earned by obedience in keeping the law, but were blinded to the innocent blood which testified against them as sinners, in not keeping the law. Hence, they were under undeserved kindness by that blood or God's wrath would have destroyed the entire nation if they removed the remission for their sins innocent animal blood.

Many Christian's practice the same thinking not believing God removed their sins in the life of Christ Jesus, doing works of law toward a religion and their bible, blinded by the precious everlasting blood of Christ Jesus God gave at great cost too Himself.

Romans 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.
