MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt.7:1 - Don't Judge, so that . . .

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.

Christ commanded us to Stop Judging, did he not? Yet, this in one of the many commandments that Christian's say were under, but they so often disobey, and without regard! Can we stop judging, better yet, can we stop breathing air? The question answer itself, if we stop breathing air we can stop judging.

Luke 18:27 But he said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

Christ presented many improbable things we cannot do keeping us from entering into the Kingdom of heavens, such as stop judging, but why? Simply put we have but two choices, one is light, and the other darkness. Light is truth: “the truth is as a sinner I cannot stop judging”. Darkness the lies says this: “let me justify why I judge by God's word the bible!”

Romans 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Luke 8:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

If we chooses the latter, darkness, we become a hypocrite, justifying our evil by God's word the bible, while judging others. But if we chose light, the truth, we can stop judging, but it is not by the moral obligation that fleshly minded Christian's thinks, what does this mean?

Christ here dealt with Jews having thousand's of years of law practice, they were master at judging others by laws, but none of them could keep. The more they judged with the tools of death, the law, because life did not to come through the law; the greater they measured out death too themselves. The wages of sin is death, the power of the law is sin. Hence, they were judging death to death, proving none of them could keep the law, and the profound truth of their sins was the witness of blood upon the altar of God for their sins.

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Stop judging, if you do, than you enter into life, but how? Christ was sinless, hence, the law could not convicted him of sin, the law instead declared Christ righteous, without sin. Thus, Christ judgments would be life and righteousness. Shortly here after Christ would give his sinless life for the Jews and us, fulfilling the old law, replacing it with his own righteousness, but how was Christ righteousness kept? Was it by the law, or God's promise in faith?

If it is by faith in God's promises than it was in trusting in God, and/or loving him. For one cannot distrust one and love them, by laws judging them as evil, love puts judgment outside of that fear and distrust.

John 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

John 8:16 Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Now if we stop judging by laws of sin, and/or the old law proving us sinner, proving we are in death, and turn to the Christ removing ours sins by fulfilling the law we have freedom, the same measure we should measure out too others. Thus, we can stop judging by the laws of death, and judge by the law of freedom, hence life, and light setting us free from our deserved judgment.

James 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.

However, for us to do that we must first acknowledge we cannot stop sinning, or judging, and than accept with all humility the undeserved kindness of God in His free gift of life too us, Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4:2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love.

Philippians 2:3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself.

James 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}.
