MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Rom.9:22-24 - Vessels of Wrath, or Mercy?

Rom.9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath made for destruction, 9:23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory, 9:24 us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

The issue in the Garden of Eden was not if God was right, but rather if we loved Him, as He loved Adam and Eve, and us? Really this is the summation of the whole, where generation one after generation faces the same questions will we trust God in our lives, His promises to us? Here Paul in chapter nine of Roman's confronts many issues we all face daily in our relationship with God, and our brothers, and sisters.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

Many of us live for the day of God's wrath freeing us from the torment of problems on earth. Yet, thousand's of years later we find like all generations before us suffering at the hands of the wicked, why does God allow such things if He is love and hates wickedness? We as Christian's have the answer, but frankly our flesh does not like to the reason Paul states above. It is for God's glory, a vessel of mercy cannot be created without patience and endurance in suffering. The flesh is short while the spirit is long, but the two are violently opposed to each other.

James 5:8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door. 5:10 Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 5:11 Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

God's glory is found in Christ Jesus our head, whom himself is the greatest vessel of mercy. God's own compassion is formed in us through years of suffering in our flesh, it divides the truth from the lie of human nature, it teaches us the truth of God's love. Nothing can be harder than watching those whom we love suffer, our heavenly Father YHWH has suffered long for the human race.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.

But let us remember that despite the years of suffering some have endured, the body of Christ is but one person in God's eyes, for some two thousand's years this body as one person has suffered for God's glory, to what end? To create a house for God that which will demonstrate the riches of God's love towards the human race ending forever the issue of suffering and pain wrought upon all living things through spirit-persons, and human choosing good and evil as gods.

Human's will than know, not one jot or tittle was left undone, not even the persons chosen from the foundation of the earth to be God's house, Here the creation will be set free from the distrust of God into the glorious freedom of the son's of God, where each person will actually realize that every hair on their head was numbered, their very DNA created to live in love, with God, creation, and our brothers, and sisters.

Rom.8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

The heavens the earth and all that is in it will function as one body, a body loved and cherished by God, the body of sin and the fleshly thinking of rebellion be gone, and the one mind of God will function in the body of His creation eternally, all living things will create harmony for the rest of God's body. Christ our brother will hand over the workings of his own body which has suffer wrath of the wicked for thousand's of years, too glory the one living God YHWH.

Col.3:2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.
