Matt.7:13 "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. 7:14 How{TR reads "Because" instead of "How"} narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.
Out of all of Israel only a few enter into the narrow gates of Christ, most rejected the invisible for the visible worship of the earthly temple. Many today think by “knowledge” of certain doctrines or teaching puts their feet upon this narrow road Christ spoke of here, but does it?
1Cor.13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.
The Jewish faith was rich with written and unwritten knowledge of God and His laws, such knowledge was good, which should have led them too Christ. Many Christian's have wonderful knowledge of God and Christ, but knowledge alone will not put them upon the narrow road, do you know why? It is because the narrow road is the imperishable life of Christ indwelling a person, this is the end product of all knowledge of God.
1John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Thousand's of years of knowledge failed most of the Jews, but the simple love of God in putting faith in God's undeserved gift of Christ Jesus did not for a remnant. They received what each person of Israel could have, the promise Holy Spirit making those receiving it son's of God, born again into a new life, a new birth, giving them the very life of Christ. But only few, sight worship is powerful in blinding people, and still is, few can get beyond the power of knowledge through some earthly organization thinking how could it be wrong, it teaches the Christ we speak of him, we do wonderful and powerful works in his name?
Rom.9:29 As Isaiah has said before, "Unless the Lord of Armies{Greek: Sabaoth (for Hebrew: Tze'va'ot)} had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and would have been made like Gomorrah."{Isaiah 1:9}
But the question reminds are they the prophet God has chosen by Spirit to speak to his children in the last days? Does your organization produce only good fruit upon its branches, or does it like all man made organization from religion to government produce both good and evil fruit justifying the bad by the good it does? Christ did not lie, or do this, he instead stated the truth, a good tree cannot have both good and bad fruit upon its branches, a good tree produce only good fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. This is the narrow road, and it does not lead to any earthly organization, have you found it?
Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
