MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Matt.7:19,20. - New Heavens, and Earth?

Matt.7:19 Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire. 7:20 Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.

The Flesh will meet its end, we are not saying that flesh is evil for God himself created man in the flesh, what is being said is corrupt flesh under sin will at sometime in the future come to an end. Christ made this point clear time and again that if one is not planted by God, that is, of Christ the tree of life, they would be uprooted and thrown into the fire!

Those of a good tree, hence, having no sin through the life of the tree Christ Jesus produce the fruits of life that foundation is the new heaven and new earth. Both a are made new by the life of Christ Jesus old things will pass away. Please don't be mistaken here, God is not reforming the sinful flesh into a new man, he is however set a pattern of its destruction in Christ by its crucifixion. Those of the new heaven have been made new by being put to death in Christ and made alive into a new mind and hearts.
Gal.5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

The body of Christ, which is the “new heavens” has been under this judgment for two thousand's years, no unrighteous flesh or its thinking will make up the new heavens wherein righteousness will dwell. But yet the new heavens will united the earth, into a new earth, once again bring the destruction of the sinful flesh to nothing, through the new heavens. The apostle Paul reminded those making up the new heavens God's anointed children that no other foundation will with stand the test by fire they were to experience, but yet let us not over look the truth, although their works be destroyed they themselves would be saved!

1Cor.3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 3:12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is. 3:14 If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. 3:15 If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

Let none of us be so foolishly thinking we know the scope or depth of God future judgments for this earth, if most of us have missed the primary teachings of the new earth. God's love and and mercies towards mankind in redeeming his creation setting it free from corruption of sin where righteousness will dwell has a pattern, a first fruit of the destruction of the flesh, could God do the the same for those upon earth, in His creating a “new heavens and a new earth?”

Revelation 21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Isaiah 45:23 By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
