MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John 3:7, 8. - Don't Marvel Born Anew?

John 3:7 Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' 3:8 The wind{The same Greek word (pneuma) means wind, breath, and spirit.} blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Control is the issue for men in power, control is the issue for humans in protecting themselves from harm, should we than be surprised that religion wants and love control? But how indeed does one control the wind? The idea of human putting themselves in control of God, and how He communicates to mankind is the nightmare of thieves, how can one steal the wind?

Luke 10:21 In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."

Matthew 20:25 But Jesus summoned them, and said, "You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

Here Nicodemus a teacher of Israel gets an education about the truth of God from Christ Jesus “the teacher”. God is the owner of heaven and earth, his words goes forth with certain success and will complete that for which it was sent to do! In other words, despite mankind's best efforts in educating people about God, God needs no one to teach His children, he is not dependent upon any human in any religion to educated his children, does that shock you? Will, it really shouldn't, God educates his children by Spirit as he did Adam, and Christ Jesus, and is now doing with those anointed by His Holy Spirit, as His children.

Matthew 8:26 He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Luke 17:6 The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

No good father gives birth to son's and daughters and neglects their education, certainly mankind cannot teach God how to be a good Father, now can they? Nicodemus, like many Christian's cannot imagine how God could do without their teachings. Moreover, many Christian's have taken God's words claiming authority over others in teaching it, believing without their personal thoughts one would be mislead. Subsequently, they approve every jot and tittle in every verse within the bibles for others under they power!

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

Mat.7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. 7:8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. 7:9 Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

So what is the lesson? God appoints teachers, but they are not Lords of our faith, nor are they in any better position, they are gifts to the rest of us within the body of Christ. However, as Nicodemus found out, God will rise up teachers from stones because He is in no way dependent upon human's to train and teach his children, and truthfully few should be teachers because most put themselves at the center instead of Christ the head of his own body whom purchase us by his precious life.

The mere fact the new birth is not human, and our being raised in Christ, given the seal of truth in each child of God received from his eternal Godship should teaches them humility that none of the new birth is from our efforts. Hence, our job is to listen to the Spirit, not too the fleshly mind, and be lead as a servant for the glory of God.

1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.

1John.2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

John. 10:1 "Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn't enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
