John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. 3:18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
Christ words here are so misunderstood by most Christian's, whom are void of the power of the law over the flesh of the Jewish faith. Most just think Christ is judging, and skip right over most of his words about not judging - moving on to another condemnation toward someone or a religion. If we as Christian's could get out of thinking we are the most important generation to have every lived, applying all application of scriptures to ourselves or our times the context of Christ word here make perfect sense.
The law of Moses judged the Jewish faith, it condemned all of them as unrighteous sinners, to get out of that judgment one had to spill blood of an innocent victim an animal upon God's altar of mercy. They could not fix being a sinner by applying more law into their lives it would not make them a non-sinner. They could however, be set right by blood atoning for them being a life long sinner. This truth made them completely depended upon God's mercy, God''s love and kindness towards them. In other words, to stop the judgment of their flesh as being a sinner, blood had to be spilled.
Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
Christ did not come to enforce God's righteous judgment through the law upon us, or the Jewish faith, but why? Simply put, that issues was finished. It served its purpose, no one, not one person every made themselves sinless enough in not needing blood upon God's altar, why beat a dead horse by having Christ prove what had been proven for thousand's years? It was time for something better. Now this is why Christ was hated by so many teachers of the law, he was teaching beyond the law into a time his blood would save the world, that world at that time was the Jewish faith, Israel. The Jews could not save themselves from sin, no matter if the lived 120-years they still needed to go to the altar spilling blood for sin, the law could perfect no one from sin. It could atone for sin, but not take sin out of us.
Heb.10:4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
Heb.7:18 For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Who than would take mankind's sin away? If Christ came to establish sin through the law that had already been done by His Father YHWH. Most Christian's establish sin in judging their whole life, but Christ did not, he removed our sins, how? Not by taking sin out of us, no! He removed the thing judging us a sinner, the law. How can that happen? The law was for sinners, was Christ a sinner? Of course not, there is no law against love, there is not law against a righteousness man without sin, whom would judge Christ a sinner?
1Tim. 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine.
If a person is put to death in their sinful flesh by being made a part of a sinless life (Christ) there is no law judging that person. We cannot account ourselves anything in our flesh, we are not in our flesh in Christ Jesus. There is no other place a person can go and not be judged, but in Christ Jesus, not a bible, not a religion, not a teacher, not a new prophet, not one thing under the Sun can remove your sins, but Christ Jesus.
1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.
If a Christian's takes his eyes off this focus point, Christ, but a moment looking at men, or the beauty of human flesh to lead them they will be mislead into being struck all over with thorns and thistle of judgment and condemnation.
James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
