Daily Bible Thought > John 3:19 - The World? For 12-03-2013

John 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

Try if you will for a moment to get the context of Christ words here and whom he was speaking too? What world had Christ came into? Moreover, just who was he calling the world? As shocking as this is to most Christians, Christ was speaking not to the world as they know it, but those in the Jewish faith for he was sent to none other! Moreover, Christ was speaking to Nicodemus a great teacher of Israel.

John 8:23 He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

Here then Christ spoke to God's people as the world, as hating the light, as evil? How could these things be after thousand's of years of having God's word the law and all the prophets, let alone Kings, great Kings over Israel, how could a people get is so wrong? Well, here something not will like by legalistic minded Christian's they got so wrong because they have blinded themselves by God's law, how can that be?

John 9:39 Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, that those who don't see may see; and that those who see may become blind."

John 9:41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

The light was not the law any longer for Christian's. or lets say at this point, soon to be Christian's. The light for them was Christ Jesus, the truth, but here is the point overlooked by most of us. Truth, and light, is sinless. If a person is sinless they are not judged by what? The law, for the law was created for sinners. Now that one step of being judgmental, which means, first imputing evil to Christ cost this nation everything. You see, law implies by it creation one is evil having bad motives, and is needed to put one into check whom is a sinner!

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine.

How does this nation teacher put Christ into check by laws created for sinners when he is sinless? Well that made their own hearts evil right? One cannot judge righteous blood, with laws created for the unrighteous. So this nation as a whole did not come to the sinless life of Christ the light. Making them them the world, not of God, but separate. Either they would come to the light and be made a part of that light or remain in darkness under Satan domain the world.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.

1John.5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Compounding this problem for Jews and Christian's alike Christ brothers would be given a sinless life! In other words, God imputes Christ sinless life too them because they are apart of Christ as body members and the temple of God. How could the Jews judge them anymore than Christ by the law? The question is do we as Christ come to the light, or stay in darkness by the laws judgments, the two won't mix anymore than it did with the Jews unrighteous judgment for Christ. Do you impute evil of good?

Rom.8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

John 12:47 If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn't believe, I don't judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.
