MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John 8:19. - You Know Neither me nor my Father?

John.8:19 They said therefore to him, "Where is your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither me, nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also."

Here Jesus testifies with the witness or the Father that the Pharisee questioning him did not know the Father. Stop and think about Christ words here, he just told these teachers what? He told them he also had the truthful witnesses of His Father always with him, he had two or more witnesses to all truth he spoke. Now he tells those Pharisees they did not know his Father!

2Tim.3:6 For of these are those who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

He publicly convicts them of apostasy in being teachers of God, but not knowing God, making others as blind as they were. Now each person teaching about God needs to consider Christ powerful statement here, and ask the question is knowledge of God enough to know God? This is the great deception for many Christian's as well assuming because they have knowledge of bible, or can teach doctrine they know God, but not according to the Christ.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

Romans 8:15 For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba{Abba is an Aramaic word for father or daddy, often used affectionately and respectfully in prayer to our Father in heaven.}! Father!"

Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

The Pharisee could not see Christ witnesses in the Spirit, they could have know it by faith and love of God, but not by their doctrines. In other words, when Christ speaks later about the sheep and goats being judged as to how they treated the least of Christ brothers, they did not understand the same witnesses of the Father in them. They to could not see the truth of all matters being established by the powerful witnesses of the Holy Spirit and the Christ speaking through Christ brothers.

1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

The sheep did good because they loved all humans, not knowing that they were dealing with such a powerful witnesses, but instead being kind to Christ brothers in the world under tribulation in their flesh. The Pharisee concern themselves with laws and doctrine kindness was not what they were concern with cleanness of doctrine was their motive in drilling the Christ cross examining him to find a fault in his teaching so they could convicted him of sin by their laws. However, they did not know God, hence, they did not know Christ and what he taught was truth, thus, they killed him by falsely called knowledge of God's law.

Matt.7:22 Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?' 7:23 Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

When humans look for evil in others they do not know God, for God does not seek evil in us. He is love, he first loves looking and hoping for the good. Let each of us we wise in our judgments for what we might think we are authorized to judge could be the very down fall of our faith in mistakenly judging what no man can judge, God declaring a person righteous by his Son blood.

Rom.8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified. 8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Matt. 25:44 "Then they will also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn't help you?' 25:45 "Then he will answer them, saying, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of the least of these, you didn't do it to me.' 25:46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
