James 2:26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
Simple truths are profound, and yet, many uses words to deny the very truth of life. We human have been educated in many words often people say, but they don't do! Promises are made, words are fought over, than when called to account excuses are made for not producing what we said we would.
Romans 7:8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
Here James separates the issues of words into a profound truth, which is a dead body produce nothing, no person in their right mind would imagine they could go to a morgue and hire a dead body, and get any work done from it! However, when it comes to faith and religion the truth is often blurred. Religion and the people in it can do good works for others while at the same time do evil works and yet people will argue over if the religion is alive to God, if it is of God?
James 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
Here is the problem, when God Jehovah creates something it has a purpose and it functions in the laws for which it was created. In other words, if the tree is a fig tree no one goes to the fig tree to pick grapes, and than when they can't find grapes they curse the fig tree, nor does a person go to a thorn bush, and think beautiful figs are found there. Moreover, when getting bloody fingers do they get angry with the throne bush, why would a person get angry with something that was not created to produce figs?
James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
The question is what did God created a new creation for? And what is it about the new creation that sets it aside from all dead works. God had a reason to create something new in the new creation something that could not be found on this earth, or in heaven, what was that? Life must come from life, not a dead body, life must come from a source of life mankind is dead as a dead body to eternal living God. Their works no matter how good and wonderful cannot bring eternal life to the human race, why? Because from death comes death not works of life.
2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.
Christ came from above from the source of life God, he came from a body of life, having laws of life those laws of life must be educated into mankind, from life to create life, but sin separated us into darkness and not the light of life from God, then what was produced from life would be fruits of life constant with the life within the body of life.
Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Christ became the body of life for fallen mankind, he became the good tree producing only righteous good fruit without death, no death is found in life of Christ as the father of our human race. Now mankind could go to a body of life and see the works of God, not words of religion because the works of God and its fruit are pure sweet everlasting works of Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh. 4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.
1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.
James brings the profound truth up to those using many words, the laws of life cannot be gotten by words of religion arguing some truth. Truth is life, and it produce fruits of life just as a good tree produce good fruit. Why go to words about a dead body which produce dead works? Why go back to death, and demand life from a law removed off of us for a new law; so we could be apart of the tree of life, a law that creates only life from love. Why associated with a thorn bush knowing there are no figs on it being deceived by many words, why complain to God when we get bloody fingers looking for figs on a thorn bush? Why not look above, from the source of life from where Christ came to us from with the gift of life.
Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!
The body and mind of Satan created a world of death including all the laws of death found within it. Christ came from above to create a new creation a creation that will sets the whole creation of death free from enslavement of sin, how? By life, the eternal incorruptible life of Christ that now indwells the son's of God. Our Father did not reform the dead body, he gave us a new body of life, from Christ Jesus so we might have life, and the fruits of life, from above, not from below coming from death.
1 Corinthians 15:45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul."{Genesis 2:7} The last Adam became a life-giving spirit
Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
