MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > 1Pet.5:10,11 - The God of All Grace!

1Pet.5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 5:11 To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

Who of us can explain grace? And yet Peter tells us God Jehovah is all grace the waters of grace flow from the throne of God to all the nations and will in future times heal even the seas of mankind wickedness. Grace is the power that broke the back of all Satan lies, it is a gift so grand it hardly found among human under sin. What nation on earth having the best laws deals with those violating their laws with grace, that is, undeserved kindness, what nation going to war stops the war for grace towards their enemies?

Ezekiel 47:8 Then said he to me, These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah; and they shall go toward the sea; into the sea [shall the waters go] which were made to issue forth; and the waters shall be healed.

Isaiah 53:11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light{So read the Dead Sea Scrolls and Septuagint. Masoretic Text omits "the light".} and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.

Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can't rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.

What nation laws come up that high, so high that all under grace must come up to the mountain of Jehovah where they learn something so profound it causes each one from their heart to beat the swords and instruments of war into instrument of agriculture to help their neighbor? Nothing mankind can do will produce this source of life, grace, which is God's undeserved kindness in loving what is not lovable. Our Father, did not view the human race with death in view he did not return evil for evil, he went to the highest moral law every created by Him, the law of love - life. He removed mountains of debt and payment for wickedness to save us. He did something so far out of this world, it staggers the imagination of sinful mankind.

Matt.18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
18:24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.{Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day's wages for agricultural labor.}
18:25 But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
18:26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!'
18:27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
18:28 "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,{100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent.} and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
18:29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!'
18:30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.
18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.
18:33 Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
18:34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.
18:35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

When we deserve death for our debt of sin, he gave us grace instead through the righteous blood of Christ Jesus, not only did he give us this precious gift that no human found upon earth possessed, he gave it too us freely without regret or payment. He gave us life, the very life Adam and Eve lost, he gave us paradise in sweet association with him as our Father, he filled us with gifts of Holy Spirit to share with our brothers and sisters, he gave us a new life free from the judgment of sin. He set our feet upon his heavenly mountain we did not need to claw our way to the top. He raised us with Christ freely because of his grace. If he has done all this, what will he not yet do to save us completely for his name sake? Should we not praise him, should we not glorify him, and should we not love each other like he has loved us?

Revelation 6:14 The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Micah 4:1 But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it. 4:2 Many nations will go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Yahweh of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Revelation 14:1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
