MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > John 10:1 The Door Into The Sheep Fold?

John 10:1 "Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn't enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

What is the door Christ speaks to here? Is this door made by a man, a religion, a government, or our bibles? No! The door can only be one thing, and what is that one thing? It is the point of Christ coming to earth, it is the discussion of the entire book of John, and what is that? The call to a spiritual nation of Israel, and the rejection of the physical nations created by the old covenant.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

There was no other way to enter into the kingdom of God, but in Christ being born anew, or born again, why? Because the physical nation was no longer the door to God's Kingdom, on earth. The reality was in their mist speaking to them as door into heaven Christ Jesus where indeed the reality, the real kingdom of God has always been!

John. 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew,{The word translated "anew" here and in John 3:7 (anothen) also means "again" and "from above".} he can't see the Kingdom of God." 3:4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

The physical nation of Israel and its temple service was a pattern, a shadow of the real spiritual kingdom in heavens, God could not dwell upon earth for the heavens of the heavens cannot contain him. Christ would open the door into heaven for the first time; until Christ all the prophets looked to a city having real foundation not the one that could be shaken by physical events upon earth, like earthquakes, wars and reports of wars.

Psalms 46:2 Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;

Matthew 24:29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;{Isaiah 13:10; 34:4}

2 Thessalonians 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.

The reality in the heavens are not shaken by world events, it is the flesh and its mind that are shaken into fear of the things coming upon the earth. It is the fleshly mind having no hope of the kingdom of God in heaven that must put trust in men of war to protect them whom are shaken into fear and trembling. Christ open a new and living way, those accepting the Christ had eternal life mankind and his wicked ways could not take what was stored in the heavens, with Christ in his kingdom.

James 5:3 Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.

Luke 12:33 Sell that which you have, and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don't grow old, a treasure in the heavens that doesn't fail, where no thief approaches, neither moth destroys.

John 12:25 He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

John 6:47 Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

No! God is not a man, God is not weak that he should tremble for fear of men on this earth and their evil plans to destroy one another in the name of sovereignty. God has a kingdom that cannot be shaken by human hand entrusted and created not by humans at all! God has a foundation that earth can't not touch by any means of corruption, not even death can over come its gates. This is the truth the kingdom Christ open the doors to my his precious blood that we must enter not by human power but the very power of God.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

Rev.1:13 And among the lampstands was one like a son of man,{Daniel 7:13} clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest. 1:14 His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire. 1:15 His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters. 1:16 He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest. 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, 1:18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades{or, Hell}.

Eph.1:9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him 1:10 to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him; 1:11 in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will; 1:12 to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ: 1:13 in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,--in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 1:14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.
