MAIN TALK UNDERSTANDING GOD THE SCRIPTURES

Daily Bible Thought > Rom.8:1. - No Condemnation In Christ!

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

What condemnation is Paul speaking to here? What condemns Christian's, Jews, and Gentle alike? The laws of God, it that simple, and that is what the entire book of Roman is about? It is proof, and an explanation of why we needed Christ to give us his life to deliver us from death and condemnation of sin by God's righteous law!

Romans 4:15 For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

Romans 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

But why does Paul talk about walking according to the flesh? Here is where many Christian's get off the road into life, which is by Spirit and truth, and take the wide and spacious road leading into destruction by judging the flesh dead in Christ, as did the fleshly nation of Israel, and what is that? The laws was not for the spirit of mankind (perfecting us from sin), it was not created to perfect us in our spirit, but instead to condemn the unrighteous acts of our fallen flesh into death, which sin caused mankind by Adam. Christian's often cannot separate these two, points. One 1.) the flesh is by sight, a worship of punishing and condemning the flesh, and its sinful practice by laws for the flesh, which is found in most religion practiced today, which the seeds of weed where being planted at Paul's time (the reason for the book of Romans).

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

The correct way into life, the only way into live, 2.) is where the judgment of the flesh are put to death in Christ, and judgments of life that come from love promotes (Spirit) the life of Christ in us, freeing us from condemnation of our fleshly judgment. The flesh in Christ is dead to judgment of sin, and its laws (in this case the law of God). This is not a religious statement (dogma, doctrine or law), or a thought read from a person bible. It is instead God's Holy Spirit, birthing a son of God into existence by His power through the workings of Christ. Subsequently, this discussion is found below in the same eighth chapter of Romans.

Philippians 3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!

Romans 6:11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These brothers and sisters were freed from condemnation of sins laws of their flesh, dead in Christ. Dead, meaning their judgment of sin removed. They had been declared righteous, by the power of Christ righteous life, which God had raised giving it incorruptible immorality, and each child of God had received that life, eternal life, by being put to death in their flesh. This power not one religious group had; not one man; it so powerful that God stripped the very heaven's and earth, mankind ruling powers on earth of such judgment over his own progeny freeing his children into the eternal life of Christ working in them, without sin or the laws of the flesh judging them back into death!

Col. 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,

For these brothers and sisters to fail in this meant false religions, an adulteration of the Christ into mundane rule of law by fleshly yeast teachings. The headship they received by undeserved kindness was the new covenant. They could not earn Christ headship, nor could they barter for merit within themselves by doing mundane acts towards other flesh, like judging, thinking it made them righteous, such as judging what God had killed in Christ the sinful flesh.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

John 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

They must walk in Spirit, where the life and the law of Spirit feeds the body of Christ in the law of love. They must stop judging as the Master told them upon earth, and accept the complete salvation in Christ that the Jews missed by works of law. Walking in Spirit can only be done by faith, a faith given us by the fruit of Holy Spirit as a gift, such is true of all things of love, gifts, not obligations by some work of law all false religion seeks and promotes for dishonest gains of the flesh.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18} 13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Romans 9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness.

Romans 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

They must stop their works of trying to make their flesh righteous by works of law, and received the righteousness of Christ by faith, by unmerited kindness. They must trust in God's love that they cannot change the world by laws created for the wicked, and allow God's Spirit within them into the finish workings of Christ in faith toward God. In doing so they would be walking in Christ, the Spirit, and received the training of God to set creation free at God's time, and not their own by flesh. Reformation would not come by man's efforts of his righteous by thinking he can reform the flesh by laws that condemn the flesh as of no value at all, but dead because of sin. Allowing the Spirit into making all things new, as God had promised them upon their birth into a new creation in Christ!

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
